I just recently started vaping and I go to a university that has banned smoking. I was standing outside using my e-cig and the head of the English department comes marching up to me and proceeds to yell at me in front of the other students because I should be a good example since I'm an adult (I'm 29) and I should be smoking since there is a ban. I looked at him and said, "I'm not smoking, but it is time for class." I take my e-cig and put it in my pocket and walk in the building. He proceeded to chase me down and ask me what I was actually using. I showed it to him and used it in the hall outside his office. He said, "Great, you had to go and find a loophole."

I was truly amused.

A day after I got my first mini (this summer), I tried to flip my ash out the car window. You guessed it. I found my e-cig, a little scratched up on the side of the road. Works to this day.

Been vaping less then 4 months still, and have yet to have a truly funny moment.

However, quirky I got since I have oddly had to lower my normal TV and Radio volumes by a couple notches! Sure, I expected my breathing and smelling to clear up and all - but my ears??? I've asked a couple people, and no one seems to get this one at all.

So apparently my subconscious had just lowered my hearing ability so I could easier ignore all the snooty people making snide remarks and noises when I was smoking my old analogs in public. Sadly, I kind of miss not being able to hear them...

After using a box mod for a day I was quite startled when I went to take a puff absentmindedly while walking to the kitchen...

My utter confusion at why there was no carto on it was hilarious once I realized I was trying to vape from my phone, and not the mod...

My favorite day of vaping was just recently when all my kids started bringing me every toy they could think of for me to mod, and they said that if I started having toys as "smoker thingies" I could buy them new toys instead of new smoker thingies, lol I laughed super hard, And had to buy em all a new toy for being so inclined to help daddy out!-))

In customs TSA stoped me and 5 plocemen came at me because the e-cig cartriges looked like bullets.... and since I am a soldier and I was traveling in my uniform you know... also a military police stoped me because he thought I was smoking pot because my mod with a tank looked like a .....

The weirdest thing that happened to me is grabbing my pen to take a vape and feeling around for the button. Duh!

So, this week will be 2 years vaping for me. I was sitting in my office one day (shortly after starting) and my boss walked by.... He ran into my office, and began yelling at me for 'smoking indoors' (military..VERY against the rules). I told him, "I am not smoking, I am using an electronic cigarette" .. He replied, "well, you are using tobacco inside, against regs" ..
Me - no I am not, there is no tobacco, see it uses this juice here....
Boss - well, you are still using a flame to burn that stuff...
Me - no, actually, it heats the juice and atomizes it into this mist...
Boss - well, it smells like...wait..
Me - right, it doesn't smell at all....
I will forego the rest, but this went on for about 10 more minutes until he finally left in a huff, unable to come up with a rule or regulation that I was breaking....
Fast forward about 1 year, the Air Force decided to include e-cigs/PVs in the same category as all tobacco products...
That day - Boss comes down the hall
Boss - Where's your cigarette thing?
Me - in my pocket
Boss - (smugly) well, you know the AF Surgeon General says you have to use those as if they were cigarettes now.....
Me - (grabbing my hat) Alright, be back in 15 minutes......

BWA HA HA HA AH AH

I don't have a funny story, unfortunately, just that I vape in my ambulance all the time on what my wife calls my "robot penis" which is my Apex Alpha UltraMax with RES.

I cant believe I am gonna publicly tell this... but all in the name of CE3!

I was in my bathroom, CLEANING it. I always take the tank off the back on the toilet and drop in a bleach tablet. WELL... I had just got back from shopping, had all the groceries put away, and on the way to the back of my house where I keep some of my vape supplies, I thought I would just take care of the tanks.

I put my go-go in my mouth to hold it, lifted the top off the toilet getting ready to drop in the tablet... when my drip tip let go.

My husband almost gagged when he saw me digging my PV outta the toilet.....

Now you know WHY I use bleach tablets.....

I haven't had anything happen to me per se'. However, in the 45 days since I quit smoking by way of vaping I have been told several times to start my own business or at least become a spokesperson for E-Cigs. I tend to ramble on about the many wonderful aspects of vaping ... when I am asked of course!


I couldn't actually be a spokesperson, everything I learned about vaping I learned either here or on YouTube from ZeeCigs (Shawn) who linked me to ECF or from PBusardo (Phil) who just has great info!
