We have a cable modem. We had problems last year and they had to run new cable through the yard. We have google fiber available too but I didn't get it since my wife wants to keep a home phone and google doesn't do phone so I'd be back to two bills which would cost more than my current bundle price. I'm good with the speeds we are getting at home.

I don't know if anyone is in on the current coop but I was interested in the augvape merlin so looked around and efun.top has it for the same price as the coop and shipping is only about 3.50 so it's actually cheaper than the coop by the time I paid for shipping to me. I didn't think that most of the prices on there were that great.

Good evening, CES sounds like you have ADSL like I do. At least ours run at 20mbs, hoping they run Fiber optics to my building soon. Sometimes when Ms PT is doing a webinar and uploads a big file our internet phone cuts out, so I do miss the cable modem at times.

I have one of my outdoor water faucets that rattles the pipes every time I turn it on. It's done it for some time but I'm finally tired of it and am going to go look for a new one.

the merlin is not the only item available elsewhere at the same price or less
especially when you add up pp fees, incidentals and priority shipping! too many sales going on and not enough volume to get decent quotes from a distributor!

Good morning. Tibs, I thought so on the prices. I'd never go into that thread and say anything though. They ran into the same thing on the nic coop and ended up closing the thread.

I also have not been in that coop thread in a long time.
CES, yes got to see a few of the paintings (Fish/ Dolphins), but the most famous ones (Bison) were not for the public. Actually the area they let the public in was only about 25-30% of the total caves.

I got my outdoor faucet replaced. It was a real pain. The pipe comes through in the very corner of the basement above the sump. Thank goodness for shark bite connectors. No soldering required. I put in a quarter turn shut off valve, a new 90, and a coupler along with the frost free half turn faucet.

Not complicated. The shark bite connectors are push on connectors for copper and PEX pipes. If you can cut a piece of pipe then you can connect these. It was just really hard to get to it in the corner.
