Good morning,

I made it home yesterday evening. After a 6-hour delay in the Columbus airport while they fixed the primary computer on the plane. We spent the first two hours on the plane, while they re-booted several times, and then the last 4 hours in the airport itself. I'd left the hotel for the airport at 6am, and got home at 6pm, after re-booking the second leg of the flight 3 times.... The customer service was decent- they stayed nice and helpful and provided snacks and pizza (and 10K extra frequent flyer miles). it was still a very long day.

Good morning. Sorry about the travel troubles CES. At least they compensated you a little.

PT, is Ms PT staying in the same place while in the states or does she have to travel all over the place? I haven't flown in years. The last few vacations we have had have been driving. With the expenses the kids constantly have, we haven't had a really good vacation in a few years. I don't mind so much but I know my wife misses it. She is going to see Mama Mia with my oldest the end of the month. I figure that once we get the kids through college then we should be able to afford to do some traveling although I don't get much vacation time.

Yeah Hitt, just got back from class and I'm the oldest. Mostly students from Greece, Poland, Holland, Turkey and one from Canada. I'm the only American. This town has a lot of Europeans, retired folks from Scandinavian countries, Germany and a lot of students. The Brits are more along the coast in the resort towns.

I took night classes after I got out of the Army to get my degree because I couldn't afford to not work during the day. It was a good mix of people of all ages for the most part. The electronics and electrical classes seemed to have more people that were a little older than me at the time.
