I've been mixing it at 14%. I'm also using 1% honey, 8% em, and some sweet and tart. If you come up with a better recipe then let me know.
I never tried it by itself. I went straight to the lemonade recipe on the Dropbox and liked it. I just tweaked it a little.
I know but to me the lemonade doesn't taste sweet even with a little em. Let me know what you think about it by itself.
I didn't get that one. I got the lemon cake. I tried it after about a week and a half and put it away for more steeping.
Do you like the Strawberry Lemonade? Mine has been steeping 10 days and it tastes funky/peppery. It's not my nic.
I do like it. I mixed it by itself at 3% and all I tasted was strawberry so I added 4% each of sweet and tart and em. That is a little too much sweet and tart. It'd be better at 2-3%. What percentage did you mix it at?
That's weird that you're getting that funny taste. I know someone else on the Tfa thread said all they tasted was strawberry also.
