I keep forgetting to look at home to see if I have more of those coils that I mentioned sending you. I found six at work so far.
I agree that you don't ask enough of the kids. I'm sure the cash you were going to give her was probably more than you should have. She is of the age where she has to learn responsibility.Good morning. My youngest daughter goes back to college today. I was not happy with her last night. She asked if it was alright to go out for ice cream with a friend(boy) since it was her last night at home. We said yes but asked that she be home before I went to bed to say goodbye since I wouldn't expect her to get up in the morning before I left for work. She didn't get home by the time we asked her. She did wake up and came down this morning before I left and I let her know that I was upset that she didn't come home on time. I was actually very ...... off by the time I went to bed and didn't sleep very good. I usually give her some extra cash before going back to school but cut that in half this time. I know kids will be kids but we don't ask for a lot of the kids time and felt that we weren't asking too much on her last night at home before leaving.
I've already been there and did let my kids learn responsibility as soon as they felt they no longer wished to live at home. Didn't hurt them a bit. All 4 own their own homes and have good jobs. My youngest daughter just hit 20 years working for the City of Keene, finance dept.Well, if nothing else, I think I made her feel bad this morning giving her a short speech and telling her to go back to bed.
