My bad knee is bone on bone. I had a cortisone shot in the knee quite awhile back and it’s still working reasonably well.

Have you considered knee surgery? My boss had his done and he's doing really well now.

I have but they wanted me to try the shot first which has really lasted a long time. It's not as good as it was but still not bad.

Yeah not looking forward to when I will need a shot or replacement. Fran, how long did you have from when you first noticed your knee going bad? Good Morning!
I was still living home at the time. I was coming up the front steps with an arm full of wood when I heard the crunch in my knee. That was almost three years ago. After a couple painful days it actually felt better. About a year ago is when I started having problems again. I had the shot shortly after that and it’s still doing pretty good.

Good morning. I have arthritis pain in my legs but luckily no knee problems yet. Between work and home being busy, I’ve been pretty sore lately. Luckily though my back finally stopped hurting today.
    Glad your back is better.

My problem is that if one of us needs a knee or breaks a leg etc.. we are in trouble as we live on the 4th floor with no elevator! I'd have to go rent a place for 4-6 weeks. Figure we will have to make a decision in 4-6 years on going back to US.

I know you had mentioned possibly moving back at some point. With four flights of stairs you could skip the gym and just run up and down the stairs.

Good morning. Yeah I average going up and down 3-4 times a day, its not getting easier.

I’ve been slowly replacing the flourescent lights in our showroom at work with LED light kits and did some yesterday. The ceiling is high so I have to work off of a tall roll around ladder that we keep in the warehouse. I must have gone up and down that fifty times yesterday. By the time I was done my feet were sore and legs tired but luckily no knee pain.
