80 is hot to me.
The problem here is we get the high temperature but also get high humidity with it which makes it worse.
At 85 yesterday, that’s the coolest day on the forecast for the next 10-15 days. Starting tomorrow it will be just plain miserable.
We only use A/C between 7 and 9 at night then turn on ceiling fan. Its not bad here in mid-80's nice cool ocean breeze. I see it's 100+ in OKC!
I think a lot of the midwest is in this heatwave like we are. I know Springfield is a little hotter than us but once you get close to 100 then what's a few more degrees.
Hola! No gym today, but will go walking around. Still mid-upper 80's not too bad, at least the fires in the mountains are under control.

My wife is going this morning to help the youngest return the rental car then stay the night and take her to work tomorrow. It’s ridiculous how much they charge for the car since she’s 21.

We don't know for sure. The garage that State Farm had it towed to said it could take up to three weeks. It's been a week and a half since it was towed there. However, her last day at work is tomorrow. She took the last week of the month to get her stuff packed and get things cleaned up before she moves back to KC. We're hoping she has it back by the end of the month.
She will be moving back home then? Is her car somewhere close?
She's not moving home. She is moving back to KC but is getting an apartment with a friend. Her car is about 1.5 hours away from us but close to where she is now.
She will be closer now so you should see more of her. Sucks her car is far away but hopefully she has it back soon.
The hope is that she will get her car back and then move back. I am glad she's not moving back with us. I don't know how long I could stand having her dog there. I like him but he's just too high energy for me. I like our lazy dog.
My wife ran her by to check on her car and they haven’t received any parts yet so it hasn’t been touched yet. You’d think they might start to prep it for the new parts.
