Good Morning wonderful people ..... The sun actually came out here in Pennsylvania (for once).... I am getting spring fever and can't wait to plant the crops on the farm here. The older I get, the more I HATE winter....... I lived the majority of my life in Montana and the winters there are COLD. I am talking about -60 degrees below zero type of cold......... So now that I live in Pennsylvania, I supppose I should not complain too much. None the less, I still hate winter LOL
Yeah, with me I don't mind the snow too much.... But what I hate most about winter is the extreme arctic cold blasts that move in from the North. The older I get the harder it is for me to stay warm. I heat with firewood and it's a ton of work cutting and hauling firewood all of the time. But I can heat the house for nothing using firewood and a whole lot of physical work.
I am too old for it also and wished I could stop..... I won't be able to mess with firewood forever and so I will deal with that scenario when it arrives.
I was much younger then and in my first marriage, My second marriage brought me another wood stove but we had a good furnace also.
