Hello. Hey Hitt if you get this soon let me know how to proceed. I used teflon tape on the 3/4" water inlet to the dishwasher. After I did it it said no need to use the tape, is it OK to leave it on?
Next question, I took the old electrical plug off the old unit, it had a ground (green wire) the new unit does not have a ground wire coming out, only white and red. Just leave the ground un-hooked?

Hitt, never-mind the ground question as I found a green screw inside the electric box to attach it to the frame.
Hitt, I am doing a test run before I set it in under counter. So far good, no leaks.
Good job PT! Sorry I wasn't able to get on at work this afternoon. I would think that it is fine to leave the tape on. Tapered brass fittings don't need tape but it shouldn't hurt.
Thanks, it took about a hour and a half. Not too bad but if I was still working would have paid the $140.
After I put in ours I wondered if I should have just paid for the installation. I don't mind doing stuff like that but it was on a work night and I get easily frustrated when I'm tired.
Nicely done PT. It's a pretty dishwasher. I think it took you less time to install the whole thing than it did for me to replace the hoses in mine 
If it hadn't been on a weekend, Hitt, I'd have called someone. You don't always have time to do it without a bunch of frustration.

I have to leave from home this morning to drive an hour each way for a service call. It's a warranty claim and the company that sold the machines doesn't have a service person. I'll probably be there at least half the day.
I just put the address into my GPS. It's about 20 miles closer to leave from home than work. I brought all my tools and test equipment home with me last night. Well, not all of it but hopefully everything I will need.
