Flights are cheap here, just stopping in for a favorite pizza. Would do it more often but Ms.PT gets a little jealous, when she retires we shall be travelling more.
After my daughter's violin lesson we went to two hardware stores to get boards to replace some on my deck and a couple gallons of stain. I hope two is enough. Stain has gotten really expensive.
Good morning. I don't miss the home maintenance part of owning a bigger home!
Didn't have to get up for a few more hours but woke up anyway, will check in from Rome.
I got the bad boards replaced and still need to replace a couple pieces of top handrail as well as stain the whole thing. It's only 50 out this morning so I'm going to wait for it to warm up a little.
Made it back to the hotel, walked around a lot. Darn if I'm not losing my voice like I did in Barcelona and came down with a cold, hoping this is just the dryer air here. Pizza was good CES!
Leftovers? I got the two bad handrails replaced and all of the handrail stained.
The floor will have to be another day. I had to cut my own notches in the new handrail pieces because the precut ones didn't align with my uprights.
Well it rained here this morning and a little bit this afternoon so I had to wait to stain the deck floor. We have school stuff the next two nights so it may be the weekend before it gets done. Tomorrow night Mark Wood from trans Siberian orchestra is playing with our high school orchestra. He was here a few years ago when my oldest was in high school and it was a really good show.
