Good morning. I’m sure the first day will have been the roughest. One was in sideways and they had to take it out in pieces. That one has stitches.
Me too. My oldest said her car was making a "noise" for a while now. I had her drive me around and to me it sounds like a bad strut or something. It wouldn't be a big deal but she has an audition 45 minutes away tomorrow and is planning a road trip this weekend to Springfield. I'm rather aggravated that she never had it looked at and now my wife and her are going to run it to the shop today and beg them to look at it so we at least know if it's safe to drive.

Hi Fran. I’m rather stressed about my daughter’s car. I think we should trade it but she’s not really in much of a position to take payments. She’s only been back home a few days and doesn’t have a new job yet. I’ll just have to be patient and see how things work out.
I know. They fixed the tie rod and said it’s safe to drive. I just wish she didn’t have to drive to Springfield today and next weekend.

She’s back in Springfield for a few days filming a video. My wife and I were talking about it yesterday. It’s just a bad time to trade cars even though I think it’s the right thing to do. We aren’t sure if we should put another $1200 into this car. It’s a 2005 with 112k miles on it.

My oldest son found a job and he had a ride to get there. Ended up buying his own car. We co-signed for oldest daughter and she got a job and made the payments. Youngest daughter drove her boyfriend's car till she could buy her own and youngest son built himself a pick-up with the help of his Dad.

I’ll talk to my daughter to see what she wants to do. I think if she wants to fix it then she’s going to have to pay half the repair bill. I just spent 400 on it. I’m not prepared to spend another 1200.
