First day home without my youngest there was a little odd. Then this morning after I got dressed and went to go back into the master bathroom, there was a snake slithering across the floor. It's weird because it's on the second story and we've never had a snake in the house before. I put it in a bag and took it outside.
    That's weird for sure.

Good Morning. Well in this dynamic and constantly changing world we live in, I now go get to go find a place to get a PCR test done 72 hrs before arriving in Austria. That is in September so have time but the rules may change by then. Here in Spain they are so desperate to get the numbers lower they started yesterday a ban on smoking outside at bar/restaurant terrace and even walking if a 2 meter distance cannot be done. Even vaping.

Good Morning. Yep a PCR is for active Covid. I found a couple of private labs that will do it but its like $140 for a quick turn around. Thats actually more than my flights cost from here to Vienna and then back from Venice. Yeah Hitt, I agree something has to give, we can't continue to live like this perpetually.

    Somewhere between here and there
I was thinking this morning that I wonder if it would be worth hiring a lawyer to try to get my daughter's speeding ticket knocked down? It just makes me sick. Like I said in the other thread, she swears she saw a sign that said 60mph and swears she wasn't going much over 60 but the cop said it was a 50mph zone due to construction and then wrote her ticket for 72mph. It's about 250 between the ticket and docket fees. I'm not sure what to do.

Are you sure your daughter's being truthful? Not that it would matter now. Around here a lawyer would cost more than $250.

I tend to believe her but am guessing that she was going over the speed limit but doubt she was going 72. I asked my boss what he thought since he has a law degree and he said prosecutors look at speeding tickets as a nuisance and it wouldn't do her any good to go to court without a lawyer. Yes the ticket is about only 250 but once it's reported, the insurance will most likely go up for the next several years. I just don't know how much.

The way I see is one way or the other it's going to cost you.
