I found a site that has Dekang 555 but in 24mg PG.

Can I get that and then add 50% plain VG and end up with 12mg PG/VG without diminishing flavor of the original?

It seems odd to me but the VG doesnt have any flavor, but it is diluting the original so....

I get a reaction from too much PG and a 50/50 blend works really good. I like really Dekang 555 but its hard to get in the 50/50 mix and none of the US blenders 555 I've tried seem to hit that spot and I'm tired of throwing money at them trying to find one that does.

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

You can cut any higher nic liquid with VG to lower the nic level. But, to the question of flavor loss, the answer is also yes.

Think about it this way. You have 10 ml of ejuice, 24 mg. You add another 10 ml of VG. You now have 20 ml of 12 mg juice. However, you have now reduced the flavor ratio by half, so the flavor will be weaker.
