eh...i've heard people say either way (to each their own tastes) but typical consensus seems to be that yes pg = more flavor vg = more cloud
if you are diy, maybe as you raise your vg level raise your flavor % and lower your pg/vg %...not sure if that would help or not, still new to this.

Generally I'd say yes, flavor does decrease the higher the vg percentage if the flavoring percentage remains the same. Many vendors juices taste good at any ratio, and I think they adjust the amount of flavor according to the ratio requested. Pg-free juices can still pack a whollop of flavor if the mixer is taking it into account.

Some flavors to me taste better at high vg, and some at high pg. Bakery/desserts, rich, or creamy flavors work well at high vg. The thicker fullness of vg vapor and roundness to the taste it provides are positives for those. I've been really digging creamy fruit vapes at high vg lately. Drink vapes like cappacino, coffee and cream, Chai Latte, and smoothy or yogurt drink flavors also play well at high vg. Vanilla, caramel, maple types work well too.

High pg seems to work better for light fruit flavors, tobaccos, any subtle vape, and maybe candy vapes.

But in the end it's all really personal preference. I often choose around 50/50 when given the choice. A good middle ground that most vapes work well at. I do go for the high vg on creamy vapes and will often choose higher pg for tobaccos.

I'm a DIY'er, so this resonates a lot with my creation attempts-

I've been struggling with a creating strong TH, but not raspy- I still need it to be smooth.. but strong. It's just how I like my vape experience.

It's hard to get that without adding a lot of sweetner (NOT EM.. that makes it a lot harsher.. fyi. liquid sucralose seems to help), but the biggest factor seems to be the flavorings.. I buy all flavors from lorann, yet, a fruit like pineapple is super smooth, and watermelon is super harsh-raspy.. it's to the point that I can't just mix 50/50+flavor=vape, but each flavor has a crazy recipe like 30/70 + watermelon + 5% sweetner vs. 60/40 + licorice and no sweetner... I still throw away a ton of bad mixes when I try new flavors because it seems completely random. Strawberry and bananna were both much harsher than I expected, cherry too.

What really doesn't help is that I buy my PG base with nic, so changing to higher VG screws up the nic levels.
