Well I got me Hobo in today. Let it soak in Vodka for couple hours before I put a build on it. This thing is nice. Very well made nothing to tight or lose. Everything fits perfectly. You can easily adjust the airflow, without torqueing the unit down on your mod.You can also shut the air flow off for travel. Very happy with the design. No machine marks or blemishes of any kind.
Ok, I built my first set of Vertical coils with 26 gauge Kanthal wire and wicked it with a good amount of cotton. Made sure I had enough on top to keep the cotton from drying out and burning. The build came out to 0.3 ohms, that’s as low as I have ever gone on my own builds to date. This thing is very smooth. Lots of vapor and flavor. Very easy to build on with the removable juice well and dual positive post holes.
I will need to spend time vaping on it this weekend with different juices to check the flavor, but I am very happy so far. It is a very small RDA, so it does get warm quickly, but not hot. I ran the air holes wide open, top and bottom.
Holds a good about of juice. I actually flooded it while trying to presoak the wicks. It gurgled a lot, but did not leak at all.
