Hi,
I found a local B&M vape shop that was selling the RSST atomizer on their website for $12 so I went and picked it up from their shop.
I built a coil using 28 Kanthal and mesh for the wick. The ohm reading is 1.2Ohm on the coil that I put together.
I drilled out the hole a bit at the insistence of just about everybody who's made a video about the RSST by smoketech. I didn't go huge but it's probably double the size of the original hole, maybe a slight bit bigger than that. So there doesn't feel to be any difficulty getting air through it.
The hole is right next to the coil like everybody suggested.
I'm vaping Epic juice "Banilla" 12MG nicotine eliquid.
The problem is that I'm getting next to nothing in terms of vapor out of it. I've tried setting the voltage from 3.3 to 5.0 on my MVP2 but nothing seems to help any.
I do get "more" (but by no means a cloud) vapor if I use my finger to cover over the hole just a tiny bit which makes me think that the hole is basically just too big now, even though it's not a large hole by any means.
Everything I've watched lately on the subject on these atomizers seems to suggest that they need a larger hole to get more air through them to get more vapor but it seems to be the opposite to what I'm now experiencing.
Any suggestions?
