Hi. I just got a new Riva kit from Liberty Flights today. When I put the atomizer on the battery I noticed the juice was gone mighty fast and the battery and atty were all greasy. Upon closer examination, I saw that there is a hole in the lower part of the atty and when I drop juice into it all the juice leaks out that hole. Both atomizers have the same hole. I know I'm new at this but this seems like a problem. Is there something I don't know about? Thanks for any help.

I noticed my new ones are leaking too.

I have another set I ordered last time and they didn't leak. I compared the two and it looks like my new set has a white ring (gasket) around the bottom whereas my 1st set has a black ring (gasket).

Maybe this is the problem? I kept thinking I either had them on too tight or too loose. But it doesn't seem to matter they just leak.

Maybe someone will be able to help us :)

Thank you for answering. But there is an actual hole about the size of a large pinhead on the outside of the atomizer towards the bottom of the atomizer and anything I put in comes leaking right back out. I don't know alot about these but I don't think there is supposed to be a hole there. I have used an ego without any problem and they don't have any holes in the side of the atomizers. I'm thinking these are defective. Yup, I hope someone can help us.

try breaking off a toothpick in the hole if you can to stop the leakage and see if that works for you.

if your using 901 Atty's with a 901 Riva they all have this hole ! if your using a 510 Riva pictures please

I ordered a 901 Riva. I'm using the parts I was sent. If they all have a hole in them, what stops the juice from leaking out? I probably sound like an idiot but I'm new and have much to learn. Thanks

Nothing stops the juice from leaking and the reason I don't use a 901 Riva and only 510 Riva/Ego as I cant stand that juice coming out of the 901..!!!!! and you cant just plug the hole like mentioned because the 901 is meant to have that hole in order to let the Atty breath and perform correctly.

What your ordered is exactly as it supposed to be too..!!!! here is what I have suggested to many of the 901 Riva users and nobody seems to want to listen but it works and works well. take a black small oring, like one off of a dripping tip, they are the perfect size. put it over your threads so it seats down on the flat part at the bottom of the threads, then take your cone and screw it on snug so you feel it snug up to that oring, then screw your atty on, then a dripping tip, now no liquid will come out between your cone and the Batt and you can vape fine like this and some of that liquid, a lot of it will suck right back in that hole, I also suggest you use a 510 cone on it to because its a much better look and it also holds that liquid in much better. Lastly get yourself a 510 Riva or Ego and use those because there much better then the 901 version in my opinion, I also really like the 900mAh or the even newer 1000mAh 510 version, much stronger batt and you truly can vape a lot longer on these units and they handle the LR Attys better though the LR Atty still is over-stressing all Riva/Ego batts because it draws more amp's then a regular Atty. IMR Batteries should really be used on LR Attys they handle the LR Amp draw and are safe to use in this fashion.!!!!

yes if it is a 901 it is suppose to have the hole and you dont want to plug it as it allows air flow. however I use 901s and they dont leak hardly ever on mine. you might be over dripping. try using 3 drops max. you didnt specify as the riva usually comes in a 510 and not 901 or at least that is what I thought. try an adapter on your riva as in 901>510 and try out the 510 attys. you wont have this problem. good luck..

Thanks for letting me know that. I wish I had known before I ordered it. So every time you use it, it leaks juice? Another dumb question. How can you even use it if all the juice leaks out?

If you are using carts you shouldnt get leakage. If you are dripping just use 2-3 drops and you should be ok. you can get adapters cheap at goodprophets to go to a 510 connection so you can use 510 attys instead of 901s.

you would need a 901 to 510 adapter

Doots hit the nail on the head, adapter to a 510 would be best for you as well as not flooding your atty like you could with an LR510 or even a reg 510
