Holiday in US, where can you smoke?

Hello everyone,

I'm leaving in October for a holiday in the United States. I'll be visiting New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Chicago.
In the Netherlands its possible to E-smoke everywhere and even on the airport. Only not in planes.

I would like to know where E-Cigs are banned in above cities, and where they are exactly banned. There is no good list I found for review, everything is outdated a month later.

This would include hotel, bars, airport and public places.
And would it be possible to bring my liquids from the Netherlands, or are there bans for volume and nicotine levels as well?

Thank you very much for any help!

Here's what I could find for you:

New York: Ban on E-cigarettes takes effect today | Capital New York

San Francisco: pretty much the same: S.F. supes vote for same smoking laws for e-cigarettes - SFGate

Las Vegas: Varies building to building. Sorry can't give you more info.

Chicago: Chicago indoor e-cigarette smoking ban takes effect today - Chicago Tribune

Pretty much sucks, but we are fighting it.

As far as liquids, I have talked to people that brought them into the country with no problems at all.

    Hope this helps a bit.

The vaping world is changing daily, it seems. It's very hard to find actual, current information about bans, restrictions and what not. Most of the cities you listed have bans on e-cigs as if they were cigarettes and other tobacco product, no vaping anywhere that cigarettes are banned. Las Vegas appears to still be open, except for school campuses. As far as bringing your liquids in your checked luggage, the TSA currently allows it, but I wouldn't push it and bring a gallon of juice!
