So I just received my first PV (a Tornado) in the mail today. While the pre-loaded carts that come with it are apparently flavored with death and the despair of children (yes, I did blow the primer out of the atty), this thing is blowing my mind.

I am hooked for sure. Looking forward to getting my liquid order from Tasty Vapor (Atomic Cinnacide omnomnom) and perhaps slapping on a Zero Fill mod (zfmvapors.com).

I am having my "farewell cigarette" immediately after making this post and then crumbling up the rest of the pack and tossing it in the trash. I refuse to go back to those things ever again.

Only one problem from what I can tell - I can't freaking stop. Even vaping the "low" nicotine cart, I've vaped myself into a headache. I might just have to load up a few carts with pure doubler so I can vape during the day without the nicotine intake.

Anyway, thanks to everyone on these forums for all the help you've given me so far. It's all very much appreciated, and you've absolutely put me on the road to kicking smoking for good. You are, in the most literal sense of the word, lifesavers.

I got a good laugh out of that! :)

I also remember vaping my head off when I got my Joye 510 back in the day. I wish the eGo/Tornado had been around back then! The plumes of vapor were still amazing, nonetheless! Glad you're liking the vapor - welcome!

I just started with the blu cig a week and a half ago, didn't seem to have a problem switching. I will need to find something different for vaping at home...the little blu is okay in public, but i'm working the batteries hard. Not sure what i can afford to do for the house.....i really like the vapor:D

There are inexpensive passthroughs that you can hook up to the USB port on you computer or to the electrical outlet with an adapter. You can find them for about $15 plus the cost of atomizers. Or you can go with something like a Jany Stick or Joye Stick that you can use on USB power or unplug it and use it on battery power. I have the Joye Stick and love it. There are also more expensive passthroughs that vape at higher volts, I have the VP PT from vaprlife.com and it runs at 4 volts through the computer and 5 volts through the adapter plug. It's wonderful and I've been using it all day every day for about 4 months and it works as well as the day I bought it even though it's slid off onto the floor more times than I'd like to admit.

Welcome to all the new folks vaping!

I WISH I'd picked the Tornado as my first PV. It only took me a month to realize I needed something more than the m401 I started off with, and I'm so glad the Tornado was what I wound up buying.

Yeah, those carts are liquid death. Not only that, but they tended to gunk up and go nasty on me very quickly. It didn't take long for me to decide to switch to dripping. I'm in vapor heaven now.

Get a 510 passthrough and us it on the computer. I did (do) the same with my Volcano. It'll also give you better vapor.

[Edit] Didn't see the second page on this one. MoonFlame beat me to it!
