This isn't Reo specific, but I found all the info about micro coils in this section while I was researching the Reo Grand so I figured I'd toss it up here.

I built a micro coil on my lunch break today. 30g kanthal 11/12 wrap around a small nail, I'm guessing it is right about 1/16, in my Phoenix clone. Came out to 1.7 ohms according to my SVD. Dry fired a couple times to see how pretty it lit up and wicked that bad boy with some cotton off an organic cotton ball from Walgreens...

I set my SVD to 3.7v and dripped in some Double Apple... I think I have transcended to another plane of flavor goodness! I can't wait to get home after work and try some other flavors on it. Totally speechless on how amazing this vapes! Best part is I can just toss out and rewick quick and easy as I have a HUGE bag of cotton balls.

A big thanks to super_X_drifter for his micro-coil fanaticism that got me to try this out! Now I absolutely MUST have a Reo with a RM2!

I wonder if Robert knew when he modded the RM2 for our REO's that it would snowball and bring in so many new Reonauts! I am sure he did not know that superx would invent the micro coil and the way we now vape!

That coil is perfecly fine. A small gap or two helps keep the wick moist and really doesn't affect vape quality. Great work bro
