Personally... I really enjoy reading Comments to posts on the Net. Why? Because it gives me information. The comments tells me how informed or uninformed the public is on a subject. Equally, the comments are important because the general public (who reads the comments) are being educated.

As much as I agree with you, some people cannot be educated, regardless of the number of slaps to the face they get... Blind logic.
