I've been using eGo-v (possibly knock-off) for past 4 days and didn't really like it.
UNTIL the ejuice came down to half of the clearomizer around 1.6ml.

the guy who sold it to me, he filled the ejuice all the way to the top and Im guessing maybe thats why I didnt get enough vapor when exhaled.. and also my throat was burning.

man... this thing rocks now.
all i need to do now is calm myself down to not to get OD on Nic. lol

It seems odd that the flavor would improve when the tank got halfway down. It's always better to have a full tank because its easier to keep the coil wet without tilting. If you're using a variable voltage ego, you probably had the volts too high causing it to burn. Turn down the dial on the bottom.

So glad you found your happy Vape spot and welcome to the forum! You will find you might need to get some lower nic juice for when you want to Vape like ALOT cause you love it so much, and not necessarily cause you need the nic. Vape on!

If you're using a variable voltage ego, you probably had the volts too high causing it to burn. Turn down the dial on the bottom.

Its possible that the coil and wick are finally getting broke in.

I always top off my tanks before I leave the house, whether a short or long trip.

I locked the voltage to 3.8 and my throat was burning. and vapor was hardly visible when exhaled...

now it seems like im vaping with totally different device.

Well whatever was causing the issue, I'm glad it's working correctly now. Welcome to vaping!
Another tip to note is that before using a new tank, let it sit upside down for a few minutes after filling. If you puff too soon it can cause a burnt taste that may not go away.

No vapor with burning throat sounds like flooding again. Does it gurgle. Hold a paper towel around the base and blow through it to clear the juice if a lot comes out there's your problem. Flooded it should start vaping nice again when it's cleared. If nothing blows out then it may be too dry.

Sounds like you saw and have solved the problem. The guy at the store filled the clearo too full and just was above the wick holes and flooding the atomizer. You've got the right idea now though so you can just enjoy the vape!

addition :

I kept the eGo upside down for 30mins and giving me same throat burning.

so im def sure that it comes from leaking towards to the tip.

are there any parts (better?) that prevent this flooding / leaks?

Did you blow it out? To clear excess juice. Up side down will flood it keep it right side up. If juice is at the coil/ wick entry for too long it will flood. you can add an over wick to seal it up better. There are a lot of variables that can take place here, I found they did better with an over wick just a short piece. I even just cut a piece off the long wicks. When it was all I had in the beginning. What type of juice? Pg/ vg
(IMHO set it aside after you get a kanger evod or t3)

well the ejuice i have has no info on the bottle. it just says 'high nicotine'.
no PG, VG nothing like that.

Man... im getting scared as I write down about it. maybe there is little skull icon somewhere on the bottle.

You're in Cali, they put that skull on everything from cars to milkshakes. I bought a kitten from a shelter in San Diego once and they had an 'info' card that had a little skull on it saying cat urine is a known poison and I should keep the cat away from children*

*that didn't happen really, but when you read it I bet you thought, yes, that could happen in the great state of California

Congrats on finding the sweet spot! I use tanks that hold 3.5 ml, and I found that by the time it hits around the 1.8 ml mark, the juice tastes ALOT better. I heard that it was due to the juice being exposed to air and oxidizing....the "steeping" seems to go through a quicker process as the coil heats the juice and sits in the tank sloshing around while in my pocket, and depending on the juice, a new coil being broken in tastes richer. I could be wrong about the heat/steeping, but my juice tastes twice as awesome about halfway down the tank regardless.

I had a guy tell me the same thing about a CE-4 clearomizer. He told me I was "going to have problems if filled it up more than half way." I didn't really notice a flavor difference, but I did notice that that clearomizer was the first one to burn the wick out.

I actually have two cats I adopted at a shelter in San Diego - they come with warning labels much longer than an "info card" - try 6 pages of warnings not to let your kid play in the litter box like a playground sandbox, etc...my daughter was so disappointed.

By the way, did you know that entering a public building in CA in which paint has been used is known to the state to cause various forms of cancer?

LOL, I forgot what life is like in CA - I lived there for about 3 months (in Van Nuys, LA) and couldn't believe that they didn't stick a warning on new-born babies.
My brother and I ended up in the back of a CHiP cruiser for about 10 minutes one time, I was surprised there were no warnings in the back of that telling us there may be lead (that may cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm) in the bullets they may have shot into our bodies.
