OK, so I'm retired and have a lot of time on my hands - and I enjoy every minute of it!!

I am somewhat new to DIY mixing, and found my clumsy self almost knocking over these little bottles and spilling some expensive liquid.

So, I started digging around my junk boxes to make a few tools:

This one is just a spray can top with a center plastic cup that keeps the bottle from being "easily" knocked over.

Here, I got a little more creative:

I used an old wall switch cover and glued 3 rubber "crutch tips" on it. These are also sold to put on stool feet to minimize floor scratches. This is the second version where I used 2 small and 1 medium rubber tip.

Along the same line, I was worried about spilling my large bottle of premixed base 50/50-1.2%:

I sliced a large rubber tip in half and screw/glued each side to a small piece of plywood. It works, but the board could be slightly larger.

Now for the main mixing station I got creative. I used several size tips and a larger board. Epoxy did not hold, so I resorted to screws inside each tip to secure each bottle holder.

This main unit sits inside a "cafeteria tray" in case I do have a spill.

And, here is my stash of flavors. This seems to grow a little larger each week...Thanks to Wizard Labs and the postman.

Now, if only I could mix a juice flavor that I really liked!!

Organization is the key to failure.

All the best juice mixers I know have minimal sense of organization. I just keep flavor bottles grouped by type such as tobaccos, creams and additives, drinks, fruits, etc.. Spend more time mixing to make better juice and you honestly wont have time to organize. For every good juice you will end up with dozens of bad ones. Only those with shot taste buds will ever like the majority of what they make. And just when you think your juice mix is good or bad wait a couple weeks to a month and the truth will be revealed. Good juice will get better while average juice will get worse and bad juice will always be bad.

And that guy with the minimal sense of organization usually ends up creating a post telling everyone about their mistake of being unorganized and having no clue what he mixed to make that once in a lifetime perfect juice.. :p
