Is everyone honest that post in forums. I would say the majority are but there are people who try to make themselves look better.

Hi Martha, I would say that I am honest about myself. I don't make up stories and if there is something I don't want to talk about, then I don't talk about it.
When I do make something up, (like on your "snail" thread, lol), I would say that the fabrication is pretty obvious and all in fun !!
BTW, I'm not really a wizard, I only play one on the forum !!

Seriously, are you expecting all the liars to fess up? Just because someone claims to be totally honest are you going to believe it?
Mac, if they "fessed up", then they wouldn't be liars anymore and if they are not liars, then they don't need to fess up, but if they did fess up about being truthful and they are not, then that makes them liars and they should fess up about that, but if they do...then......I'm confused now.....goodbye.
I'm honest about what I have to say, but I wouldn't go as far as to say I "trust" people on forums. If someone said "hey clean your atty out with clorox bleach, don't rinse and vape away." I obviously wouldn't listen. Just try to take away the good things and leave the bad or the questionable. If something sounds promising as far as a mod goes, and you have the extra time and/or money to give it a shot, go for it.

With most folks anonymous there is a possibility for fabrication but I think in the long run it all comes out "in the wash", untruths are way too hard to manage and it becomes much easier to "shoot from the hip". Most posts seem to come from the gut and heart.
