So I've been debating about doing this for a while and version 1 is out now.

For right now it's simply connected to a drip tip, very loosely but works. I'm debating about how to best permanently connect it.

Version 2 is going to have a button on the wooden handle able to be activated that way.

With such a long way to travel much of the heat is lost so lower ohms would be advisable to still keep the heat.

I've been thinking about doing something like that as a passthrough (with a variable chip) so that the box with the display and controls could sit on my desk and I'd just have to hold the mouthpiece. However, my plan was to put wires inside the tube and put the 510 connector at the end. Something like this diagram I just threw together. That would certainly help with your heat issues and with activation at the mouthpiece end. I mostly use kayfun clones, and a 22mm cylinder with a bottom fire button just tall enough to hold the 510 connector seems like a good comfortable size for the KFL+.
