I have a pair of 2100 30amp Purple Efest batteries as well as a pair of 35amp Purple Efest, both sets about a month or so old and from a reputable vendor. Both types are working ok and last a decent time. However the 30amps under load go almost ice cold in the mechs when I use them from fully charged, this last for a short time untill obviously they start to drop off. Has anybody noticed this with either this type or any other battery? Is it normal and could somebody explain why it is happening? Average resistance between 0.9 - 0.6ohm coils.

Ice cold? As in "cold to touch"?
Yeh mate as in the body of the mech goes really cold. Like I say it lasts for probably 20 or so draws on it and then settles down to a normal temperature. Just wondering if it could be a fault as such.
Your mech got built in A/C unit?
No, for real though, never heard of a mech being cold while in use.
