I was hoping i could be one of the lucky ones who has no apparent ill effects from vaping and i could do it to my heart's content. Apparently that is not to be. I have been vaping for about 2 months but over the last about several weeks to 1 month i have had continuous cloudy brain, extreme tiredness, aching arms. I had a flu bug in that time so i thought maybe i needed to recover completely from that. Well its been a couple weeks since the illness and Im still feeling awful, especially at night (which may be due to the fact that I play on the computer in the evening and vape a lot). Last night I stopped vaping at all pretty early in the evening and today have been just dripping some 100% VG little samples that I have and I already feel better. My head is not as cloudy, arms are not sore, not as dead tired as i was. I am hoping I can tolerate all VG vaping because if i cant tolerate that either, i will have to give it up! Wah!

My question is this -- those of you who have had reactions to PG juices, can you still tolerate a little bit of PG? Like if just the flavoring is PG based? I have a TON of DIY stuff and my nic juice and flavorings are all PG based. I can do without the nic until I can order in some VG based nic, but i would like to have some flavor!

Tyleris12, where do you get your juices? or do you do them yourself?

I buy all my juices from Virgin Vapor, because she is the only vendor I have found who has true 100% VG e-liquids available that are not super thick, so work great in my carto's. She offers extra flavoring at no extra cost and will pretty much customize anything she can for you.

Well I suppose the short answer for this is "probably yes".(but I don't think I know any better, lol) I coughed severely with my V2 prefilled kits and the same with blu prefilled, and I got awful headaches too. It was miserable enough for me to contact the company and they suggested it was the PG. Next day I found ECF and jumped right into an eGo with mostly VG juices. I believe some of my purchases early on have some PG in them, but I don't like them. I was lucky to find Vaperite early on and I vape that exclusively.

Like I said, I am trying some DIY. If you want to still DIY with VG ingredients, just put up a post as I know several members who do and will be glad to help you out. I just ordered more Vaperite and some of his sweetener from his site, hoping to make my DIY banana cream a bit more desirable! lol

I just wanted to add that yes, VG can mute the flavors some, but if you find a vendor that is use to working with VG and also offers an extra flavor option, you shouldn't have aproblem. I am someone who needs that "in your face" flavor, so I always order my 100% VG Virgin Vapor juices with extra flavor and have never been disappointed with how they tasted!

Tyleris turned me onto Virgin Vapor, too! I love em, and they're 100% organic, flavorings, sweeteners and all! yay! I'm thrilled because I tried some VG juices before the VV and I didn't like them at all. I was worried I'd be stuck vaping crummy juice since i wanted to get away from PG.

I had some weird effects after a year and a half of vaping primarily PG, and I've since gone to the VV organic juices in 100% VG (no reason not to for me, since they're flavorful and thin, which is why a lot of people add a bit of PG). But I do still occasionally use a little bit of my old PG juice, and some pg based flavorings, and all of my bad symptoms from PG are going away, so i guess i'm one of those who can have a little PG with no ill effect.

You might want to try going to all VG for a few weeks, so your symptoms disappear. Then you could add a little PG back in and see if they start up again, at all. That might be a good indicator if you can tolerate any PG?

Good luck!

Update: I have emailed a few vendors to ask if there is ANY pg in their juices that are supposedly 100% VG just for my own peace of mind. I also found that Lorann naturals are VG based so have ordered some VG nic juice and some of those Lorann natural flavors from one stop DIY to try mixing my own. Will let you know how it goes!
