The sensations are much the same.

But smoking and vaping are not the same.

I think vaping takes dedication and patience and determination. Mostly patience though.

Vaping is not really convenient IMO.

But it is worth very bit of frustration and experimentation.
Once you get the hang of it it is life changing. At least it was for me.
Good luck Heka

Hi all,

I have been smoking analog stick for almost 11 years and I would like to switch vaping (due to the cost). Is the throat hit and smoking sensation the same as real smoking? any advice?

Hi there, it's a bit different sensation wise IMO. Personally I'd say the throat hit is different (did use to smoke Malboro reds though), it does cater for most of the habit part though in having something to do with your hands etc.

I tried the tobacco like flavours when I first started vaping and wasn't too keen on them, I actually prefer the more sweet and fruit based liquids which I find to be a much more pleasant experience compared to smoking. Craving wise I don't have any and can quite happily join my smoking colleagues at work and not be bothered by it.

Have you got any friends who vape so you could try theirs out?
