The description of this flavor sounded delicious so I ordered a bottle of TFA horchata to try. I have never tried the drink, so I have no idea if the flavoring taste like the drink or not, but I did NOT like it at all. I mixed a small batch,(I think 5ml) at 10% where is where I usually start with TFA single flavors. I gave it a quick 4hr steep in the crock pot, let it cool, gave it a shake, and immediately upon removing the lid the smell was overwhelming. Very strong chemical, alcohol smell. I let it breathe with the lid off for 8hrs or so, and then put it away for a week. When I opened it a week later, it didn't smell like there was much change. At that point, I tried a sample on a dripper, and after one vape, I put the cap back on, and haven't touched it since. It's been sitting a good month now, and I really need to try it again, but having been able to bring myself to do it yet. Some people love it, but I think it's safe to say, this will not be a flavor I use

TFA Horchata is basically cinnamon, like a red hot or something. The pure flavoring is like cinnamon schnapps. The predominant flavor in the Horchata is cinnamaldehyde. So yeah it's a strong flavor. Very extended steeping smooths it out some, but if you like cinnamon, go for like 6-7%. The molecules used in this and cinnamon are pretty much the same except a few more for horchata.

Is the light version the Horchata smooth?I thought about trying that one,but if that's the one your referring to,then i'll pass haha.I've tried the regular horchata and the horchata base from them, and didn't like either,so i figured the smooth version would be the final shot at getting something close. The closest i have found so far to tasting like the drink is Capella's horchata,it's not really spot on either, but not bad after a few weeks of steeping.

I like Horchata in the following two recipes All flavors from TFA
Horch Apple AKA Horse Apples
5%-10% Pineapple
2.5%-5% Horchata
2.5%-5% Bavarian Cream
0.5% Smooth
1%-2.5% Saline or only if in a high +65% VG base.
and

Black Horch AKA Black Horse
5-10% Bavarian Cream
2.5%-5% Horchata
2.5%-5% Absinthe
0.5% Smooth
1%-2.5% Saline only if in a high +65% VG base
Add Koolada or mint and you have Cold Black Horch

The percentages vary from light to heavy on flavor depending upon your liking. try the light percentages first if not enough for you, increase percentages of one or all flavors up to a maximum of 20% flavoring
Sweet cream or other Creams can also be used in place of Bavarian Cream for a variation in taste
Max VG seems best with the higher percentages. The more VG the more saline to counteract the drying of the VG and higher viscosity. Distilled water can also help with the viscosity
