My Dear ECF Friends,

I have received so much from my involvement in ECF that I thought it only fair that I give a little back. As you may know, I am an amateur modder and have built many mods, no two the same. I built this mod to try my hand at dripping.

I named it The Gecko and it is a "one of a kind" mod (though I am sure others will copy it). It is a MOSFET-driven 3.7v boxmod with a touch switch. I built it using a MV 2-AA green transparent box, an "n-channel" MOSFET, and a 510 atty with a soft drip tip (also green). It uses 14500 protected batteries.

Here are a couple of pics:

As you can see, since the box is transparent green, I thought a glob of hot glue in it would ruin the techie look, so wires, etc are not glued into the unit. If the winner wants to ruin the cool looks of it, he/she can always crank up the old glue gun, but I think that would be a shame, don't you?

This mod will accept any 510 atty or carto, so if dripping is not your thing, screw on a CE2 or something else. This is also has a touch pad, so there is no push-button to wear out. You know how much $$ touchies are, here's one for free :p

=================================
So here's the rules for the giveaway:

1. Please don't turn this into a chat thread, therefore, each member will be allowed up to 3 entries. More posts than that will disqualify the entrant. Sorry

2. The drawing starts immediately and will end in 5 days, therefore the winner will be chosen on Sunday evening, 8/28/11 (barring, of course, technical difficulties)

3. Your post number will be your entry number.

4. If you want to discuss this mod further, please do so on the original thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/202926-oh-my-lord-im-dripping.html

5. The winner will be chosen using a random number generator, so no number is any better than any other.

6. Only persons in the lower 48 USA states are eligible to win, sorry. Also, you must be over 18 and a nice person  No grouches, please.

The winner will receive the mod and the atty only. Sorry, I need my battery for other mods, you must supply your own 14500 and juice. No warranties, no returns, you understand.

Please check out my other mods if you haven't. You will, I am sure, find some which you enjoy. This is one of the coolest hobbies I have ever had, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. edit ... go to my profile View Profile: asnider123 - E-Cigarette Forum and click "started threads" at left side of screen

If this giveaway is successful, this may not be the last. So get in there and post and win!!

Please say nice things in your posts, no flaming or griping please (see rule #6)

So GOOD LUCK and HAPPY VAPING

From what did you make it? It fits with that mod very well, but I think it might go well with others, too :)

(Must be judicious now, only one post left...)

I am new to vaping. I have a standard cigarette look-a-like. I have read hundreds of posts on this site and looked at a ton of suppliers stores, and forums here. Everyone is so durn nice!

Asnider, this is the epitome of paying it forward, One of the groups I joined here. Your mod looks really neat. I'm surprised that with your Bilbo picture avatar, you didn't find a Gollem logo and call it "The Gollem"? It is a translucent green, like he would appear with his precious on... OHHH you could have called it "The Precious"!
Anywho, good luck with your mods and I do hope I win
