hot joye 510 atomizer

after a min or so of vaping it gets very hot just wanted to know if this is normal.

It could be flooded or the battery might be getting low on voltage,they do get warm to hot depending on your vaping habits. Blow the atomizer out and change batts and see what happens. Good luck

if your talking about a minute of straight vaping then yes i believe this is normal. The more continuous use then the coil in the atomizer heats up making the whole atomizer warm/hot to the touch and even part of the battery that is is connected to.

Are you super vaping? If you're like me (and I'm not alone) it's very hard to put it down for a minute or two to let it cool down between vapes but it has to be done LOL!

i agree kimber, it is damn hard to keep that thing down between vapes.. sometimes i find myself picking it up and feeling the atty every 15 secs to see if its ready for another beating! lol.

LOL! me too. Now it's really hard because I've put one of those cushion things that come on mechanical pencils on my atomizer instead of an empty cartridge for easy access to dripping without burning my lips. I can't feel the heat as well.

It wont hurt it to get very very hot- 510 run hot anyway but they can get volcanic. I chain vape often and my atty gets so hurt it burns me (not badly lol) if I set it down on my leg while I do something else - hasnt affected it at all - CAN affect me if I dont put it on my leg and so forget its really hot and try n blow it out...

awesome yea I have been vaping a lot just came in the mail so I've been using it constantly.
I love it can't help but pick it up and just take a few puffs.

Mine get hot to the touch. Could just be me, but it seems you get a better vape after letting them cool.. But otherwise, they get hot as heck!

If Im driving in the car... I chain vape and put the 510 in the ac vent for like 10 secs and Im good for a few more chain vapes

Yes, My 510's get hot as well. My solution is use my eGo till it gets too hot then switch to my regular 510 for a few puffs till it gets too hot, then switch and repeat, switch and repeat

I have 2 510's that I carry with me during breaks at work so I switch between the 2 so one doesn't get to hot. I also do that at night when I am vaping 2 different flavors.

I think the issue where people are using more than one is not so much to let them cool down.
It is probably more a matter of letting one wick up more juice, while you use the other.

These things need a bit of time to wick up more juice for the next drag.
Unless, of course, you are dripping.


I don't see any reason why too hot is a problem.
In fact, I think it helps keep your atomizer coil clean of gunk.
