I first saw the prototype of this mod at the Kokomo Indiana vape Meet earlier this year. It is a 26650 mod that is Kick ready, in fact it was designed specifically to use the Kick.

This is what arrived at my house this morning...got to love the box art.

In the box was the mod body with Kick ring, mod head, battery, charger, drip tip, and 1.5 ohm DC cartomizer.

Also inside the box is a battery extension that allows the mod to be used without a Kick, as I said this was designed around the Kick module. So if you chose not to use the Kick it looks like this...

and with the Kick in place...

This is very similar to the company's Bombshell Mod, in fact if you own a Bombshell you can buy just the tube and adapter ring and use your original head unit. As far as size here it is with a Silver Bullet, both with DCA's on them. Notice the SB does not have the 18650 extension ring on it. With the ring the SB is actually a touch longer.

My impressions...

After a day of use I am so far happy with this mod. The button is very clicky feeling but not very noisy at all. I wasn't sure how I would like the small button but it is so positive it doesn't bother me in the least. It is also recessed far enough that it is not easily depressed by accident. The recessed area is perfect for my finger. As with any mod running a Kick it vapes very well and without the Kick it vapes as well as any of my 3.7 mods. Because it is designed to be used with a Kick it is not regulated.

Fit and finish are very good, threads are about a medium coarseness but there is no gritty feel to them at all. The black finish on mine is flawless and the adapter ring has a nice polish on it. It has a hint of a drip ring with the connector setting flush with the top. The stinger is available in the black as well as a silver finish. I really like the way the black looks with the silver ring personally. It is also available as a stand alone mod as well as in the kit. The price difference is a wash pretty much, you don't save much over buying the battery and charger separately but you don't get the box with the stand alone version and I wanted the box...yes I am also a Tank Girl fan...lol.

This will get a workout over the next few days while my SB takes a break. I can already tell I will want a second Kick to use in the SB and other mods while one stays in the Stinger.

Does the atomizer/carto screw down flush to the 510 connection. I know there was an issue with a gap between the 510 connector and whatever is being screwed onto it. Possibly creating a bit of an airy draw. Plus I'm a bit OCD and that would probably bother me. I would like to find out about this before pulling the trigger on my purchase. Thanks.

That depends on the carto/atty being used. The DCA's leave a small gap as you can see, while a 306 screws down completely and the gap is caused by the tip. Tanks with Ikenvape cartos will screw down just about flush. Of course there has to be airflow and this mod does not have the cuts all the way out to the edge of the top like some mods. On the Stinger the small drip ring serves along with the cuts in the connector to provide airflow.

I thought I would just screw on my favorite atty from my SB and it would be the same but I am finding this mod has it's own personality and likes and dislikes. It loves the Kir Fanis Tripolitis tanks with an Ikenvape Gold Carto, a set up my SB did not run well with for example. It isn't as fond of the DCA as the SB but hits like a freight train with a Hot Vapes 2.0 ohm 306 and Cannon tip. It also really likes the dual coil atty from Clouds of Vapor. I am still exploring different combos. The size is great, just slightly larger in diameter than the SB...maybe 1/8th of an inch.

I haven't run it with the RA Tank yet...waiting on wire but it seems to like a couple other tanks fine. I am rather curious how it will do with the double Atty adapter from Mad Vapes...but will have to wait till they are back in stock.

Took awhile to wear the first battery down to the point the Kick was cutting off. If you did not know the Kick has a built in low battery indicator, it will begin to stutter vape (vapor-no vapor alternating – may feel like tss-tss-tss) when the battery drops to under 3.2 under load. At any rate I changed the battery and was back in business. I am still rocking it with the IO6 in the DCA, vapor production is outstanding as is flavor. This slightly larger size of the mod over the SB doesn't bother me and I really do like the small clicky button. Even when my finger turn numb from my carpel tunnel I can feel and hear the click...at times I am somewhat guessing with the SB button when the carpel tunnel is bad.

I need to pull the DCA off and spend some time with a tank on it but it vapes so well now I hate to...lol. I will switch over and spend a few days with a tank so I can see how it performs with other devices. May order a Vivi Nova as they are popular and give it a trial run.

What are the sizes of this mod?
I saw many size comparisons, but haven't found anything about the actual size.
Length and diameter? Could anyone tell me that?

Also about the finish: I know that the black is anodized aluminum.
What's up with the silver version? Is that polished aluminum? Or chrome plated? Nickel plated? Which one?
The original website of this product is not very informative. None of these info can be found there.

I don't own The Kick. If I order the Bombshell Stinger kit and an extra 26650 battery, and then decide to order The Kick, will I then have everything I need to install and use The Kick in my Stinger?

I currently have 2 Provaris (Version 2), so I'm assuming that I won't be satisfied with The Stinger unless I get The Kick. I just want bigger batteries for weekends away from home and off the grid, such as weekend camping trips. However, I must admit that I'm intrigued by VW. I would rather stick with made in the USA, even at a price premium.

The stinger does come with the ring you need to insert the kick into(the regular bombshell, does not) so all you would need to order later would be the kick if you wanted the VW added.

I just ordered the Kamry K100 R-Scope from Gotvapes to try a kick on, I thought it was a cool looking mechanical but really wanted safety features and VW so I figured I'd give it a try. Should have it Tuesday so I will post my results.

Oops, sorry, noticed I posted this in the wrong thread
