So here is a little something I have noticed that I don't care for. The two banana plugs start in before the balance connector, if the square edges of the balance connectors catch instead of going together and if they are forced together there may be a chance of breaking the end of the board. Next time I separate mine I'm going to bevel the corners of the male balance connector with a small file so it will center it's self better into the female part.

Not being .1 would make more sense, did a quick search on Hotfire, unsure but appear to be out of CA. Easily could be wrong.
Out of ChinA
I got the web address from off the box that the Hotfire balance charger came in but anything is possible I suppose.
I put in the cart and they wanted to charge Ca. sales tax but I couldn't get it to actually proceed to check out. I wasn't wanting to buy it anyway.

Here is what I got with a piece of cooper wire shorting the post of my Magma clone with atomizer analyzer in EScribe. The Hotcig: .035Ω, the Opus: .02Ω. I added 80% of these figures to mod resistance in EScribe under the "Mod" tab. (this worked well)
Also checked to see if FD v3 shorty can be fit in there and it looks like a go, might have to grind off one of the corners of the brass nut in the end to fit the cover back on.

I really wanted to open mine up to see how they grounded the 510 but thought I'd better wait awhile in case it needs to be returned. A fellow on the Early Adopters forum showed his, here it is, I'm not thrilled by the press in 510 but it seems to function properly.

I think they did a pretty job everything looks good. I agree on the 510 but it would be super easy to swap it out with a Varitube model if necessary. But I am sure it will hold up fine if you treat it right.

Had a surprise when I got home - despite dhl & usps showing no movement since it was handed off to the post office in KY a couple days ago.

So how are the buttons, and are you satisfied with how the battery mounts is it secure?
