Here's what you can do from the mod alone.

DNA200 OPERATIONAL MANUAL

MAIN

Up/Down (5 sec) lock wattage or temp (Temp-Dominant dependent)
Up/Down (5 sec) then twice Up (or Down) to change Profile

LOCK (5 clicks)

Up/Down (5 sec) adjusts temp or wattage (Temp-Dominant dependent)
Fire/Up (5 sec) lock ohms
Fire/Dn (5 sec) Stealth/Normal
Fire/UD (5 sec) Change Material

Nope you can't toggle it from the mod. You can change profiles and/or change the material from the mod. But the dominance is only toggled from EScribe.

anyone else running the kanthal preheat CSV? i'm using it with my wotofo sapor dual kanthal claptons. i doubted it would work till @dwcraig1 brought to my attention. it didn't work at first but after turning the punch up to 11, it worked! 80 watts with 120w preheat, 11 punch, for 1 second. gets these claptons up and running in no time. below you can see by my device monitor screenshot it IS working with kanthal. fun stuff.

below the screenshot is the csv file (i don't know why it says "login") for preheat with kanthal. if it doesn't work at first try adjusting the punch up.

^^^^well yours didn't shoot way over the set temp like mine did.....even though the temp part may not be all that accurate.
I suppose I need t to mess with it some more, I basically did it just to see if it worked. I don't use much Kanthal these days.

Well Got my red one this morning, wish I would have had a little more disposable income when I first saw them. Mine arrived with all three cells @3.84, and needing a Firmware update. Would love to have one of the 18650 packs, and a bigger battery got large hands anyhow. Great deal, glad it turned out to be the V2, made it even better.

Hope you find it to your liking and my extra pack should be here today. Rather sick of the size of the dual 18650 so I can now have as a daily carry. My best guess is to contact Hotcig directly if you want to pursue obtaining one. It won't be as cheap this way but it might be possible.

Yea I'm not counting on getting one, If I find someone willing to part with one reasonably I'll grab it, otherwise just deal with it as it is. I won't pay what Hotcig wants for it.

But ecig.com had them for 55 bucks! How much cheaper do you need them to get? I always looked away from DNA200 lipo mods because they are usually hard to disconnect the battery in case something starts smoking. But these DX200 are different. They are even easier to disconnect than a mod with 18650s. And easy to swap batteries too on the go. And they were a steal at 55 bucks each. Hell the DNA200 board is worth more than that.

Ummm, what are you talking about? You've obviously misunderstood what I said, which is in reference to the optional battery packs, nothing to do about the DX200 itself.

Not going to pay more for the optional batts then I paid for the mod, if worse came to worse I'd just transplant it into a RX200 box.

I never thought I would ever say this. But it's rather nice to use the 900mAh pack all over again. Having an extra makes up for its shortcomings that at one time I was itching to not use. Aside from that my Q class also made its way home. So that too is nice to using a SX chip all over again.

I finally found a dual 18650 battery sled for the DX200. Unfortunately they only sell to a Russian address.
