I've experienced the exact opposite. I get better flavor out of the 510 clone atties because they don't get as hot. With regular 510 atties, I don't get the taste I do with the clone atties, but I get more vapor.
I've heard many people say 901 atties have better flavor than the 510, and since 901 atties don't get as hot as the 510, I would think you'd get better flavor from a cooler 510 (at least I do).
I agree and I think that's pretty much the consensus of the
vaping community, albeit the sense of taste is probably the most subjective of all.
I get MUCH more taste from my 801s than my 510s. The 801s have the highest electrical resistance so they don't heat up nearly as much as the 510. The trade-off is the TH. I can get a perfectly acceptable TH from my 801s but the stars have to be perfectly aligned. <g> The warmer vapor from the 510 provides a more consistent TH.
Some 7 months into the journey to finding the perfect PV, I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't exist. Different times of the day I reach for the 510...
It's sort of ironic. Now that I have a pattern down pat, I find myself way less reliant on vaping altogether. That God... what a practical joker, eh? LOL
