How does the Household Budgetary Committee treat shoe purchases?
The Household Budgetary Committee is currently in heavy negotiations regarding the purchasing of footware.
As of this date there is a stalemate regarding the following much debated points:
Against the Appropriation of Shoes Sub-Committee:
"You have an enormous amount of shoes..."
"Yes, but some of them are almost 6 years old!"
"Your argument is self defeating, why do you own 6 year old shoes?"
"Cause there not worn out, there still good!"
"Hence, you have enough shoes."
"*sigh*"
For the Appropriation of Shoes Committee:
"It's almost spring!"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"I need new sandals!"
"You have sandals."
"Well, I need better sandals!"
"Why, pray tell, do you need better sandals?"
"Because my toes can't breathe. It's been a long winter, and my toes need to breathe!"
"Wait... your what need to what?"
"Ahhh! They're suffocating!"
As you see, this deadlock is quite serious. I will report back with late breaking developments as they happen.
