Then why dont you get on national news and let the whole wide world know what the FDA did. Now that will be something to read about. But I do agree with you....but this is doing nothing to help the ecig population out.....and if this is all we got that than you kiss the eigs good buy.....being realistic.

The sad fact remains that we, who holds the truth, don't have the deep pockets that the FDA and governments have to spread a mound of misinformation. We can only do it the best way we can. Through forums, blogs, non mass media news sites, etc.0

I'd love to see this on national TV. Eventually it probably will be. But for now, we must take our lumps and try as best as we can to spread the truth.

somewhere out there......
I agree but it doesn't cost much to have this on the news....just setup a fight against the fda ask for a 30 min special. Invite the FDA and your best guys and scientist around....show all the independant testing.....show the difference between NRT products and ecigs.....show percentages show numbers give everything there is about ecigs....throw mass emails and spam mail to everyone.....make commercials....according to the FDA its not tobacco so advertise....the Fda allow NRT products to be advertise. Whats there to lose....if you cant gain ground by what has already been done then we need to somethig else....why does't the ECA get in contacted with these manufacturers to help fund this campaign. They will lose big money if they dont get involved. the ECA needs to get them to do it.

Big Jim, may I have your permission to fwd this to my sister so that she may use it in one of her articles for the Oregonian? If you have any other info that she can use PM me. I'm just not very eloquent when it comes to e-cig legal issues, and I can't really explain these things to her very well, but she wants to help.

Sure, no permission is needed. We need to get the word out one way or another.

I realise that Jim, just pointing out that moonport productions seems to be more in the business of link baiting rather then providing any useful information.

Well, what information do you need? I'm doing this as a hobby right now. If I find something, it gets reported and released. Not all stories are written by me, and I provide the souces. Good stories get released via PRLog, which MAY get one into mainstread news if it's good enough.

I honestly think the information posted IS useful. We all need to work hard if we want to get the truth out there to the masses. Imagine what would happen if everyone that visits here makes an effort?

Sure, but the article is just a rehash of what many others have already posted (It even cites Lacey's site as it's source) headed by a misleading title. I guess I had my hopes up that some incriminating evidence had turned up showing 'why the FDA misleads the public'. I was disappointed. For a site that bills itself as 'All the news the FDA does not want you to know about' - they sure do concentrate on e-cigs quite a bit.

FDA is an entity that allows things like rBGH, aspartame and GM foods. The fact of the matter is, they don't give a flying crap about you. They only need to appear that way in the press. If monsanto was selling the e-cig, you can bet your ... they would get approval.

A former vp for monsanto is now Obama's food safety Czar -- unreal!. This govt is both hilarious and horrific. Unless you have the lobbying power of a monsanto or are on the board of a company with important interlocking directorates, it's going to be a real tough fight.
