How are eliquid flavors created? What do they use to get eliquid to mimic the taste of any food?

I want a tobacco eliquid that taste like tobacco. I remember vaping on a bacon eliquid and it had the smoky bacon taste. Every tobacco eliquid I tried tastes nothing like tobacco but like syrup. Tobacco eliquid should be savory and not sweet. Is there a way to get an eliquid to have the spicy smokey taste of a cigarette? Maybe using whatever ingrediennt used to make the bacon eliquid and making it taste similar to smoke? If they could make an eliquid that could taste anything, they should be able to create one that taste like a cigarette.

Cigarettes are extremely difficult to replicate. Cigarettes don't taste like tobacco. They taste like tobacco + a ton of various chemicals all being burned simultaneously. With e-liquid, they use the toacco flavor alone, and it's not getting burned.

It is very difficult to replicate the taste of burning tobacco. There have been attempts to create the ashy taste ( with some M type artibacco's for example ) but not too many have come close. The closest imo are juices made with TA ( tobacco absolute ) like some Hangsen extracts.

I tend to not look for that taste any more. There are a lot of good N.E.T vendors that give you Cigar, Pipe and Cigarette blends that give you authentic tobacco taste minus the burning taste.
