Just received a DSE 801, my 2nd e- cig, provides great flavor compared to my Magma. I do however lose some TH and vapor. I also have to feel the 801 less when I drip. Haven't used a cart on the 801 yet so I don't know how that effects the flavor. 801's are known for providing the best flavor which is why I purchased one. I like it so much better than the Magma, which is basically a mega 510 battery/atty combo, when I buy my 1st mod I will buy it with 801 connectors instead of 510.

From what I read, higher voltages usually produce more flavor, vapor, everything.

I am using an e510 and just dripping naked (tailpiping) at home alone. :shock:
:ohmy: :pervy: :w00t::angel: :banana::censored::bday::thumb::thumbs::smokie: :lol:

Never thought of putting a hollow cart back on it... The 2-piece e510 setup is about the same length as an analog king, and if you put your lips inward when you hit it, it's no big deal. For me, it's just about ideal. I'm only using the cartridges when I go out, despite having a ton of them and buying extra fluval.

The "stock" e510 vapes cooler than some others. That's all I know.

My advice would be to keep experimenting with different juices. I've found some with very little flavor and others that are totally satisfying. Also, PG based juice has more flavor than VG based. The type of juice I've found to have more flavor, but not so much as to be sickeningly sweet, is vanilla.

Good luck on your journey.

hi undefind - not sure what make/model of e-cig you're using, but i have a joye 510, and the comments above about vaping at a higher voltage for a more intense vapor/flavor/TH are definitely correct -

to be more specific, in my case, i only bought 2 accessories:
* a 5 volt USB passthru (NOT the one with the battery inline....look for the one with a straight USB cable connection...not sure but i think the bat. will limit the outgoing voltage to the PV, and for high voltage vaping you don't want that)
* a 5 volt, 2 Amp (2,000 milliAmp) USB wall charger

these two make for a pretty good combination, and I can tell a TON of difference in vapor,flavor, TH when compared to vaping off of a standard 510 battery...you can also pick up a 5 volt, 2 Amp USB charger for the car...works really well

here are a couple of links if you wanna check it out:

I found that after buying over 30 bottles of e-juice - many from recommended suppliers who I requested extra flavoring from - that it was just me - after many years of smoking - I just can't taste much anymore. But finding they DIY discussions (where besides great tips I found out you could go to the ez-sweetz website for a free sample) and Perfumer's Apprentice (a maker of flavorings) - I learned how easy it is to doctor the e-juices I had bought to where I can not only taste them, they now taste great!

I find I sometimes have to add up to a third of the volume of the bottle of e-juice with a complimentary flavor and a whole lot of sweetener to get a flavor strong enough for me to enjoy - but these flavorings are fairly inexpensive - $5 an oz (30 ml) so if like me you can hardly taste your e-liquids, it is easy to save your e-liquid investment and really enjoy the experience.

I'm still a noob, and I want to change up the flavor of my tobacco flavored juice. I checked out the DIY stuff, and got confused, especially since I'm using commercial juice; I just want to add some flavor to it. I know it's a matter of personal preference, but what would be a good start for a 10ml bottle? I don't want to try too little, and then put in too much flavoring. I also don't want to buy too much flavoring either. I also see mention of sweetener? Wouldn't that mess up the atty? I am starting to wonder if it isn't worth the extra money to just buy the flavored carts or e-liquid. Could someone clarify all of this confusing stuff for me, please? :facepalm:

hi gamerGirl - you may want to post this question over in the DIY E-Liquid section...the folks over there know quite a bit and could probably steer you in the right direction

from what I've read and seen, I don't really see any reason why you couldn't purchase some of the sweetener liquid and some small sized bottles of flavoring that you like, and then simply add just one drop of flavoring at a time to your existing juice, until you hit the flavor level that suits you...keep in mind though, that if you paid $5-$8 bucks for that 10ml bottle of liquid, and add some flavor that makes it taste like crap, then you're stuck with it ; )..

anywayz, ask the folks over in DIY E-Liquid - they'll be able to help u
