I'm new, but what I read and did this morn was stick a tiny screwdriver into the air hole and just pried my way around. Easy peasy.

What I wish someone could answer is whether the last two puffs of the prefilled cart, when I got a burnt taste, means I shouldn't try l refill it after opening it :) I've soaked in water and alcohol, so I guess only thing to do is try it when juice comes. I've read you shouldn't be able to burn the filler etc, but I cant imagine what else the taste would have been.

Not sure about the Blu brand cartos, but the hard cap that comes in other brands can be removed by sticking a precision phillips head screwdriver into the hole and wiggling the cap untill it loosens enough to get your fingernail under the rim of the cap. This process may or may not slightly mar the hole in the cap, but you can trim the marring off with a razor blade if you reuse the hard cap and the little plastic burrs bother you.

I bent a paper clip and stick it in the hole in the center and pry them out. I've been refilling them with juice for about a week now. No problems out of mine. I don't boil or clean them. I just use them until the flavor starts running out and then refill. After about 3 or 4 drags the old flavor if any was left is gone. I've actually gotten better flavor out of a refilled blu catomizer than refilling an empty cartridge with seperate atomizer. Of course taset is all up to the user.

I have found the best way to remove any hard caps is to use the metal part of a binder clip. It is bent at just the right angle and doesn't unbend as you use it. Just squeeze the metal part to get it out of the black part.
