I like that idea Ark! Did you also get a flat, slotted screw or still the original one?

I do have the slotted screw also. I don't know the oring size since I had bought them a year earlier for a home brewing project

It never actually tightens all the way just spins and spins that is normal right? Haha

Mine made a big difference too Eric! Your screw should tighten, mine did. Did you unscrew the top cap when you changed the screw out? You may not be getting the threads to bite into the isolator under the cap. Look in the stickies and find the "Replacing the top cap" thread and look over the pics and walk thru

I took the top cap off and I notice the bottom screw moves when I turn the top lol. I only have one screwdriver with me so ill wait till I get home to try holding the bottom one while I tighten the top.

LOL, I had a hell of a time with that yesterday when I changed the screws in my BPs! I ended up using my channel lock pliers to hold the underside while I screwed in the top screw

All done, I did it a little too tight at first, when I went to screw the top cap back in that hook circle deal on the wire that connects to the screw didn't have enough play like it did before so it moved while I turned. I loosened it some and all is good. I really like the slotted screw but I'm keeping the Phillips just in case I miss a tighter draw.
