How clean are you?

A weekly rinse with hot tap water and occasional swipes with toilet paper works for me.

I maintain my toppers the same way.

Pretty much this but I do use a little cheap vodka when when I clean the tank every other year to help clean out the tank innards a bit. Clean the drip tips more often but I'm not germaphobic about it.


Ditto, it's the aliens I'm more concerned about.


What the hell are you vaping that causes your gear to become corroded?

Copper gets corroded from literally everything. I guess I should have made it more clear that I have a copper mod.

My SQuapes, which are the only things I'm using at the moment (love them), I just re-wick every second day and at the same time give them a little dry burn, give the bases a good rinse out with warm water, refill the tank and off I go. I'll only rinse out the tank if I'm changing liquids. Am a bit .... about my drip tips I'll admit, they've got to be spotless

I do not like washing insides of my tanks.There are no bacteria in tanks (PG is antibacterial and VG suppress bacterial growth). You can use PG for washing. I use nearly flavorless juice, so very little contamination to anything but wicks. And I would not like to use rubbing alcohol (I have no idea what type of residue it can leave). I hate using grain (or potato, if you will) alcohol for other purposes than drinking. Warm water works just fine - about once a month. The only thing I am .... about is a driptip. I wash it at least three times a day.

every time I fill my tank I swab out the chimney, the drip tip and the battery contact with a q tip otherwise I think my nautilaus mini will be unhappy and not vape well I use a silicon sleeve on my Istick once in awhile I run a little hot water through the nautilaus for fun

I'm probably not as diligent as i should be, but i usually give my tube mechs a good couple cycles in my ultra-sonic every other week. My box mods just get wiped down with an alcohol pad every few days when in use, and my atties get cleaned whenever i rebuild them. I usually rebuild once a week since i use nichrome.
