I change my Coil about every 5 days. So that is about 73
coils per year. At 4.4 cents per Coil, that comes out to about $3.21 per Year.
ON EDIT: I didn't include wicking material because I have a box of rayon that will last me until the end of time. ...no joke.
LOL.
While massive "heavy metal" multi-coil builds will use more wire, and "premium" pre-rolled
coils can get pricey... I jokingly generalize that my simple coils are "a nickel's worth of wick and wire".
I may be a little high in my estimate.
Yes Virginia... there's a tremendous savings over factory heads (at $2-$4 a pop - though usually re-wickable and often re-buildable as well. They're just harder to clean and limiting in space and build options.).
And I'm using an $11 140 pad pack of Muji cotton (I think that's the medium size package)... it'll be a few years before I need to think about re-ordering wicking material.
