I intended to quit cigarettes at the beginning of 2011, but that didnt happen.
My wife found out about e-cigs through a coworker, and V4L was recommended.
Initially, i was not too keen on the idea, but my wife urged that I check out the website and give it a try.
She ordered me a starter kit, and got a variety of different flavored cartomizers.. so now im hooked.

Don't really know exactly how I heard about them. I think I saw something about njoy somewhere and was intrigued. I went on Amazon to look and found the "Health E-Cig". Really bad unit and died a couple of days later, but was enough for me to want to try again. Bought an njoy shortly afterward, still not quite what I needed, though closer. Came on here and got a 510 (at that time there were no Egos, etc and the 808 didn't have as much respect as it does now). But it ended up being too much hassle for me, so forgot about e-cigs for a while. Fast forward to June 2010, decided to try again, this time I stuck with it, though I did "fall off the wagon" and go back to smoking for a while here and there. But, now smoke-free totally since December, thanks first to my 808, then later an "Elegant Easy" and now a Go-Go.

Saw an "American Blu Tip" commercial on TV. I googled it and "e-cigarettes" and found this place.

Thank goodness I did, or I might have been trapped instead of informed.

Happy smoke-free owner of a 510, eGo-T, some home made "clearomizer" type mods, and (if it ever shows up) a Go-Go, thanks to ECF!

I researched them a few years back and seemed to just remember having to drip, and such as that. I knew that wouldn't work for me, so I kinda forgot about it. A couple months ago I saw a review of the ego-t on Youtube and figured that would work for me, so I gave it a try. rest is history.

I was on my companies online forum and saw a girl mention how cheap and effective these were and had to try them. I went to the mall just to see what they had to offer. Luckily, the booth was gone. Apparently the ripoff artists had been run off. So, I borrowed a friend of mines which he didn't use. It sucked!! He bought it at the mall from EverydaySmokes.com. Then, I found this website and now I'm on my 17th day of not smoking an analog. I used to smoke at least a pack a day for 16 years. This has been an incredibly liberating experience. I never really planned on quitting until I read the girls post on a Domino's off-topic forum. Crazy really how it all came about. At this point I could see myself being a salesmen for these. I tell everyone I can about them.

I'm using a Joye ego w/1000 mah batteries and have been refilling my carts since the beginning. Thanks e-cig forum for your help.

I don't exactly remember how I learned about them, but it must have been online at some point. I had a few friends that had purchased one, but I didn't really think too much about them. Because they were still smoking analog, as well as the ecig. And then believe it or not, I was watching an episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (shamefully, another thing that I am addicted to), and the Psychic medium Allison DeBois was on an episode vaping. That's when I decided to just go for it, and that I didn't have anything to lose. It's a day shy of one week since I started. I did have two analogs, but nothing since. I am still having heavy nicotine cravings, but I know that I can make it through these urges by vaping!

I heard about them in news articles when they first started popping up overseas, but I didn't think that much about them. When my smoking habit suddenly kicked up into overdrive, I started looking at ways to quit but PVs never occurred to me. I started talking about quitting with some people I would take my breaks with and one of them mentioned her aunt quitting with e-cigs, and that's what got me to thinking! I picked up some E9 units because the ECF totally intimidated me at first (not anymore, obviously!) and got started on those. I've since returned those units and now just use two of the KR808D-1 and fill my own cartomizers!

A couple of years ago one of my coworkers showed up with one. She used it a few days and it disappeared and she was back on analogs. Last year my father died from lung cancer. When he was diagnosed (3 weeks before he passed), I promised him I would quit. Promptly tried the gum/patch/chantix merry go round. Promptly decided to worry about quitting later.

Went to a cruise forum to research and book a vacation. While there, ran across a thread about e cigs...it directed me here. After lurking for a few days, I grabbed my credit card, made some orders and the rest is history.

Very first time I heard of it was when Health Canada was warning people to not use them. Not been tested and not going to be tested. yadda, yadda. Was actually disappointed and thought they were banned in Canada.

Then last year I heard from a hard core smoker who was using one. wished i could try one.

Finally this year, after my hubby quit and I looked, i mean really looked to see if I could get one. Wanted to cut down smoking around him. Found this forum here. :) Discovered there was a lot more to them then I thought. Ordered my kit and well that's that.

Hmm...well, I was a smoker for years until I got hitched. Then I lived on nicotine lozenges for about six years. When things fell apart and I got un-hitched, I went back to smoking. In the meantime, my boss announced she was making a life change and took us all to lunch at the food court at the mall. She came back with an electric cigarette from one of the kiosks--I don't really remember what kind--and we all picked on her mercilessly about it.

She gave it up after a few weeks because it was a pain to go to the mall all the way across town to get carts. However, one of my smoking buddies showed up at work with a KR808. Cool. :-/ Then others started popping up with them. I wanted to stop stinking and hacking, so I figured why not...just $50, right? So I ordered mine. The prepackaged flavors were okay--not great, and I hated ordering cartos since they usually ended up on backorder--but after figuring out how to make my own juice and refill, I found that I could have the perfect "smoke", save a metric buttload of money, and not stink/hack up my right lung in the mornings.

In the meantime, I showed the boss how to refill her carts. She's started using hers a lot more, especially since I keep her stocked with homemade juice that's tailored to her tastes.

I was on my honeymoon in Mexico when we met a guy from St. Louis that had an e-cig and I was WTF. Started researching in the room that night and from what I saw, blu cigs or green smoke were the best two company's out there. So I waited until I got home to order and did some more looking. (luckily) came across ecf and got myself a 510 kit. I have been playing with it for a year and never quit so I convinced myself I would quit if I got an ego t kit and now I vape and smoke. Lol

I smoked for 30 years off and on, mostly on. Wanted to quit so the wife would quit. Knew if I quit she would.

Daughter mentioned e-cig one night. I started researching e-cig's and placed orders for several different models. The day the first one arrived the wife and I stopped smoking and haven't looked back. January 21, 2011.

We use ego's with ikenvape atomizers and cartomizers, and also have bloog maxxfusion's.

We are both feel much better and are much happier.

My daughter told me about them. She had looked into them b/c her hubby promised to quit smoking and she found them by researching ways to quit. I did my own research, had some hard months on the patch trying to quit (already been down the Chantix road twice, gum, etc.), and finally ordered a kit as a last ditch effort. It worked! Been analog free almost 8 months.
