My son told me he quit smoking to my amazement. I was amazed because it seemed so sudden.
I asked him how??
He said he used e-gigs from a Mall Kiosk.
He used them for only about a week and then quit....wow!

So a couple months later, after watching to see if he relapsed ( I always did).
I sprung for some South Beach Smokes and started vaping on 1/8/2012.

What's your story?

There was only one device and I was not buying it. I wanted to know what was in it so I avoided it and told people Injust don't know. Then my uncle who has smoked over 30 years asked me if I knew anything about ecigs? This was very early 2010. I told him there are so many ecigs I don't know which are good?

He started reading the Internet and this forum lead him to the Ego-T. He told me what he found from research and I bought one too.

Started nursing school and the longer I was in class the more I didn't want to be a hypocrit. So I decided to quit but I wasn't sure how. One of the girls in my class was using a BLU disposable so I decided to go buy one and try it. It wasn't great but it got me started. From there I started researching online. Found a few suppliers and order some stuff. Eventually I found this website and from there the rest is still in the making. I've upgraded to a mod and have a few juices I like and I'm doing pretty good and I'm happy!

I read an article in a magazine about nicotine vaporizors/inhalers in 2008 and it piqued my interest and I started searching online. I walked into a mall and saw someone smoking a "smoke anywhere ecig" and went up and talked to them, when I got home I searched online and ordered my own SE ecig and then found this forum and realized there was alot more to this.

I ran across an add for a "subscription ecig" program that gave you a free ecig if you agreed to buy their pre-filled cartos. There was a video about a fictitious news program where a reporter was assigned to cover an ecig company. The reporter agreed to try an ecig for 30 days and ended up quitting cigarettes. Her coworkers were amazed and jumped on the bandwagon.

I Googled further and found ECF. The rest is history.

My friends had been using them for a few years, but I thought it was kinda weird. Then my finances got even worse so I decided to get a KR808D-1 to use some of the time so I wouldn't buy so many cigarettes. It grew on me FAST. In two days, I didn't even want a real cigarette anymore and have been using my PV instead.

a friend showed me the revolution v2 and said he hasn't had a analog in 2 weeks. I didn't say anything negative to him but walked away and call bullshi* then couple days later got to thinking about it.
So I did my homework on the net on rev v2 and decided after seeing the reviews on it. It would probably come apart after a few days. I then came across the vapage vmod. I had to order it just to see what all the hype was about. when it came in the mail I took it out of the package and charged the batteries and soaked the carto. after using it for couple hours I said (self) this thing might just work. used it up till midnight. didn't smoke a analog b4 bed. got up the next morning and vaped through the morning crave. I havent had an analog sense thats been 5 days ago.

Saw Johnny Dep use an ecig in " the tourist" and was like "damn that is what I need to finally quit". Joined ecf did research and started with an ego tried carts/ clears then fell in love with dripping on a lr Cisco and bought a SilverBullet (wanted a lavatube but the screwed the red up and it came in pink) couldn't wait so grabbed a red SB... I dare someone to try and take it from me now.lol. Although I'm having a problem using it at 6v, 3.7 is great with LR atty
