I was at work one day and a customer had one, he was smoking it in the store. I was intrigued a bit when he said he had quit smoking cigarettes with it. I began to research it online and found a free trial for me and my wife (which wasn't free).
Anyway we got this trial ecig and it was ok but I continued smoking analogs.
Then a friend of my wife said we should try the Volcano, Magma which turnes out she was using and quit with.
When we received the Magma Kit it was a decent improvement from the trial eCig. It came w/ a couple 510 attys 2 batteries, charger, 5 pack cartridges, and we ordered like 20 more cartridges including a few flavors.
I really enjoyed that and it kept me from having a cigarette through the first week w/ minimal cravings. Astonished I posted on Harley forum I frequently use about ecigs hoping it would help someone else.
Then a member on that forum referred me here, explained alot of stuff for me about brands, mods, etc. Which I cant thank him enough for.
I quickly ordered a Boge 510 no box mega kit and some liquids from madvapes.com for half the price of the volcano.
It came in like 2 days! Arriving yesterday.
I still want to try other rigs but I gotta say this Boge 510 setup is Twice as good as that Volcano! Dropping in liquid as I need it helps a ton too but this thing cranks out some vapors in comparison yumm!
anyone lookin for a great starter kit check them 510 kits at madvapes.com

many Clouds many Clouds!

I have some friends that vape. I wasn't too interested at first, especially since all the nicotine alternatives I've tried in the past haven't done anything for me, but the more I heard the more I got curious. I've been bumming a mod from a friend the past 2 days and I've smoked 3-4 analogs in that time. Once I get all set up with a mod I can actually see myself dropping analogs completely.

I bought a e-cigmini a couple years ago because a co-worker had a pen style and I thought I'd give it a try, the prefilled carts where yuck and it didn't make much vapor I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. then about 3 months ago and 2 boxes of chantix not working for me I was IMing with another co-worker and she was saying that her vanilla e-cig was so yummy, I'm like e-cigs I forgot about those I dug mine out after 2 years the juice had gone rancid. so of course I had to try again I ordered a few different PVs, a mod and bunch of 5ml juices I was determined to make it work and I was suprised how easy it was to quit smoking. makes me wish I would have looked into it more 2 years ago but hey better late then never.

So I am a waitress and one day a woman was using one in my section. I Had never seen anything like it before and to be honest if I had I would have blown it off. But she had V4L stuff and just talked to me about it. She gave me a card and I did a bit of research on it. I ended up buying a kr808 basic starter kit for $40 and have not have an analog since. I still use the kr808, but have moved on to better juice. I think about this often... What are the chances she came in on the day I was was working and sat in my section. This has changed my life..Plus she was a good tipper...:)

I saw a post on a gaming forum, MMORPG.com, and a Mod there was loving her Ecig. I thought about it but never researched it at that point.

Then, a few month later, my daughter offered to buy me one for my birthday. I researched it like crazy and found this site. I haven't had a cig now since 10-10-10 and it's been a breeze! 30 yrs of smoking and I really thought I would die a smoker. I love my Joye 510 and it's worked like a miracle.

A young kid at work started using a 510 set-up almost twoo years ago. Our company is tobacco free. He talked to me about it, I was interested but kept putting it off. This past July I ordered a 510 kit and some juice. I loved the different flavors. About two weeks later I had a scare with cancer. More extensive testing came back negative, bu sure was thankful I had given up analogs.

After seeing me taking a smoke break, a customer asked if I smoked much (1.5pad), I awaited the "smoke is bad m'kay?", instead he asked if I had ever heard of e-cigarettes... suggested I check google and left.
I did so, found ECF, bought a 510 and haven't had an analog since. Thank you, stranger, you may have saved my life. :)

I saw an ad while surfing the web, bought a mini that hooked me even though it was junk, upgraded
to overpriced junk, but they were keeping me off analogs.
THEN found ECF, bought a eGo and never looked back. With ECF research I am now making
my own juice (DIY Forum), trying different attys, cartos, adapters, and pass thrus with
much more confidence, and cheaper!!

I'm still finding stickeys with great information, that I should have read before my first purchase,
but better late than never.

I found them some months ago while browsing around one of those online stores in China that sells everything. I ended up getting a generic super mini. It wasn't half bad, but the battery life was terrible and I blew through the pre-filled carts in no time.

I decided to see what else was out there instead of ordering refills. I ended up here and started read a bunch of threads. Based on what I read, I ordered myself a Riva and a big box of juices. I've been happy ever since.

I'm old but play online multiplayer games. My fiance knew someone in his guild that was doing well with an e-cigarette from 7-11. So I started researching on the web and found there were lots of different kinds and lots of people were using them. I found that the 7-11 one was not a great deal and sometimes they are out of carts etc and malls were especially not a good deal. Then I found this forum. I discovered the horror stories I heard about e-cigarettes a couple of years ago were not true (the stories I had heard then were that they got disgusting brown gunk inside and you had to do disgusting cleaning and they were basically gross). So I knew with fairly simple maintenance like having spares and dropping things in a jar of alcohol was all that was needed. I read/watched the Newbie sticky threads and videos and watched a bunch of comparison and maintenance (filling, cleaning) videos on Youtube, and then picked a model and bought my starter kit.

My first post here, so please bear with me. I drive a truck locally in the Chicago area, and happened upon another driver who had a tw 510. I asked him how it worked for him, and he said he had not had a analog cigarette since he started vaping 6 months ago.

I went to tw website, and ordered a 510 titan starter kit, and have been using it for 1 week now. I ordered the refillable carts, and 5 bottles of 30 ml menthol flavored juice. I am a 35 year heavy smoker (2-3 packs a day) and have never had long-term success quitting. I have not bought a pack of cigs since I started vaping, and and in the last 8 days have smoked a total of about 9 cigs. The last one actually tasted nasty, and will be the last analog I smoke. If anyone has any tips on what to expect, I would greatly apperciate it...

My husband sent me a link to a forum posting on democraticunderground.com about giving up smoking with e-cigarettes. Then we were at the mall and there was one of those kiosks. They let me sample one and I thought huh, I could totally do this. But they tried to give me the hard sell and wanted $150 for a starter kit or $40 for a "disposable," so I got cold feet. Went home, researched it online and I'm really glad I did. Hooray!

One of my coworkers was using an XhaleO2 he bought from 7-11 during a smoke break and I was instantly intrigued. I figured I could save a little money and skirt the "no indoor smoking" clause on our lease at the same time. I didn't plan on using it to quit smoking. That happened as soon as I laid hands on my Riva!
