After being nagged by my ENT for a few years and several nose operations later I decided to buy a little white ego ce4 from my local gas station and some liqua. I was skeptical at first as I didn't like the look of the ecigs but 4 months later I have not picked up a stinky cig and now I don't need nose operation no. 5 which is a bonus! I now have various devices I vape with, even bought my partner some devices as he got jealous of some snazzy devices I own!
....I wished I started this earlier, would have saved a few operations being done....

I saw a couple vaping in a local bar. They were kind enough to show me how it worked, and I was fascinated. I loved the idea of only buying juice and never buying another pack of analog cigarettes. I then bought an $8 NJoy King and loved it. I'm not a heavy smoker so it lasted about 2-3 days. At that point, I bought an eRoll starter kit and a bunch of different juices. I was still sneaking analogs until I found Backwoods Brew Casablanca. Now I can't stand the taste of a cigarette unless have had a few drinks to dull my tastebuds.

My wife brought home an ego with a Vivi Nova on it and told me that I needed to try it. I did and we went down to the local B&M and I bought the same setup and haven't had an analog since 17 Jul.

I had been weaning myself down for a couple of months prior to vaping (was down to 1/2PPD), but it only took me three days of vaping to finally quit and that was after smoking for 28 years.

Saw some ads for Blus or something, knew I wanted to quit and thought this ecig thing sounded like a good option. So I did my online research and found ECF. Lurked for a while and figured I would start small. Tried a Mystic ecig from Walmart, of all places, just to see if I would like it at all. After a few days, decided to continue and based on info I found here, decided on a KGO kit. Worked great for a while, but I got bored and lost interest in all the plastic clearomizers falling apart on me, so I left for a year. Decided I wanted to give it another go, came BACK to ECF, and did more research. Found some good gear and juice I wanted to try, and here I am going on 4 weeks with no analogs! (well, one the first day. tried another one the second day and couldn't even finish half of it). So, in short, ECF got me started twice and I couldn't be happier.

In anticipation of trip to Alaska to visit non smoking daughter and her family, researched the Blu ecig. Researched some more and found eGo's. Researched went on for 2 weeks, and finally decided on MVP 1. Started at high noon Aug. 5th. Went to vape meet Aug. 11th. Won the raffle, and got my backup.....A ProVari! Just turned 69 yrs. and been smoking 53 of those yrs. 2+ pad. Wasn't even looking to quit, just use as a temporary measure. Since Aug. 5th have not had an analog nor miss it. It's been a surprising, delightful and joyous journey and I'm dancing all the way!

In January I filed for divorce after 20 yrs of marriage. I immediately started smoking AGAIN - I've smoked on and off for 30+ years. I have also worked out for a long time and smoking cigs is a real problem if you want to breath. I shared my desire to quit with a friend of mine and he bought me a cheapo (though not cheap:confused:) greensmartliving starter pack at a local smoke shop. It sat there unopened for a couple months, assuming I would hate it and not be able to quit. I finally committed to doing it for my B-Day this last April.:bday:

I loved vaping from day one but the cheapo's drove me crazy with how undependable they are - I went through so many of them before I met someone who pointed me in the right direction as far as where to look for a quality set up. And now - unless those .......ing a**holes outlaw e cigs I can't imagine I will ever smoke again. Vaping is everything I loved about smoking and none of the stuff I hated.

The day my son was born, I decided to quit this was 5 years ago. Went from using the patch, the gum/lozenges, and even the chantix RX pill. None of it worked. I had some friends tell me the laser or hypnotherapy worked, but I didn't wanna go through all that trouble.

Then I found Totally wicked and Vapor4life and bought one of them little ecigs with the carto that looks like a real cig. I was on and off of those for a few months smoking real cigs in between. Never fully got off cigs because those little ecigs never put out a lot of vapor for me.

I totally quit analogs when I got an ego battery and tank, the vapor and throat hit was to my liking (not to mention a lot of will power) helped me quit and I haven't looked back since.

I've since upgraded and got a Joyetech evic and glass tank, best damn thing I own ATM.

3 yrs ago July of 2010 I was surfing the web and went to close a pop up and it was an ecig ad. I was curious but it was a trial ad so i searched for a non trial version and found blu and ordered just in time for our anniversary. Right after ordering i found ecf. From there i was doing DIY within a week on 510 in 2 and kept going from there.

My husband's mother gave him a V2 ecig setup as encouragement to stop smoking as she has COPD and wanted him to quit smoking. I liked the idea and ordered myself one which encouraged him to use it also. It progressed from there, we have not had an analog since 7/6/13 and currently use ego twists which are just fine for us, not really interested in anything different at this time. We are just having fun trying and finding new flavors!

808 and pre-filled cartos from SmokeTip.

I loved it but it wasn't nearly enough to kick a 3pack a day full flavor habit.
The first few hits were always really good...but after that it was just frustrating!

As I was looking into just getting 'more' batteries and chargers to go with the SmokeTip kit I saw other things out there.
Got a few more 808 batteries and decided to try an EgoT and a bottle of liquid.

Out of the box, the Ego T blew me away....but again...it wasn't enough. By the second day I was ready to throw the thing through a window (tank and atties were far to fussy make work well).

Tried a clearomizer on the Ego...wow...what a great vape (compared to anything else I'd tried)! The tiny little tanks just cracked and leaked all the time :(

Finally gave up on the small stuff and debated between a Darwin and a Provari along with some sort of CE2 and/or Carto tank. The Darwin was really hard to get at the time and an 'opportunity' to get my hands on one came...so in a flash I pulled the trigger knowing such a chance might never occur again.

Yay! For over 2 years...vape life was easy peasy. Order liquid...cartos for the tanks...finally quality vaping was down to less than a dollar a day :)

Now I'm amazed at all the new stuff that's out there...and the BIG drops in price/performance ratio.

Started on convenient store throw aways bc I thought it would be an better than analogs. Moved into v2 808s then got frustrated because the batteries always died and they never produced enough vapor. That's when I took the plunge into the big leagues and bought my first svd. Haven't looked back since.

Was getting feelings like shortness of breath, etc. Have been smoking analogs since I was about 13 years old and I'm now 23. When I was 19 years old I bought my first e-cigarette, was called an Ecig XOX or something like that, and it was pretty nasty.. but that was when vaping was first started coming out. Now here in 2013 I ordered my first starter kit from totally wicked e-liquid, the tornado tank kit. Have been vaping away and upgrading my arsenal ever since :vapor:

Went up to my local Mini Mart to buy a pack of analogs. The kid behind the counter was puffing on a e-cig and raving about how awesome it was. He let me hit it and I was amazed!! He proceeded to tell me a new vapor shop had just opened in town and to go check it out. The very next day I went down and bought my first set-up from the great people at Straight Line Vapors in Cheyenne Wyoming. I admit I fudge every now and then and smoke an analog but I went from a pack and a half a day down to around 6.

Saw a friend with a PV Christmas, 2011 which planted the seed. Was working on a community theater musical a few weeks ago when another friend pulled out a Blu. It looked interesting and I had to try it. I googled "ecigarette" and bought a Vapor King kit from V4l. Already thinking of moving up from the mini, but I'm making myself at least finish the sample cartos I bought before getting a new battery.
