How do i add links to my post

I want to add a link and use my own words. How do I do that?

I want to be able to type a word that others can click on to go to the link.

I thought there would be a thread here but I don't see one.

Well, if you use the "Insert Link" button (shown below) you can paste the URL link into the little window that pops up, then when it puts it into your post, you can replace the highlighted text with whatever words you want.

The end result will look like this.

Alternatively, you can type it in using the following format:
(URL="Whatever the URL of the link is")Whatever you want the link to say(/URL) and just replace the ()'s with []'s.
