My frieind, the op, he has been having store people build it and i have re-wicked it twice i think, he has had the same build for months, don't ask me how the crud doesn't bother him. I think it is time he learns all this stuff that is important to do building so he can do it on his own.

Makes me think of the old "Give a man a fish.... Teach a man to fish..." saying... LOL

i told him to lurk the forum and get advice from other people before we actually sit down and build one.

Seeing as you stated that you re-wicked his coil at least one if not twice. Would it not have been just as quick and efficient for you to sit down with him one-on-one and walk him through the process?

I would feel very uncomfortable leaving anyone let alone a friend with a mechanical mod and a rebuildable atomizer without any advance knowledge. IMO, it's bordering on reckless.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)I'll start with a few questions first.1. Do you have an ohm reader or DMM to measure your builds?2. What batteries are you using (brand/mah/amp limitation)?3. Have you read up on battery safety, ohms law and amp limitations?
Do you recommend a particular ohm reader or DMM (also, what does this stand for)? I am looking into getting into building myself as well. I just picked up my first "expensive" battery, the eVic Supreme, but seems that it may be more for tank systems that aren't rebuildable. I haven't yet figured this out. Thanks!
