How do I know which ones contain nicotine? I have browsed thru stickies and at a few refills all over the site, and cannot find which ones contain nicotine. When it says strength, does that mean nicotine, or flavour?
There are numerous vendors on this site who sell e-juice. The juice is measured in mls. The strength is measured in mg. The highest is 36 mg (too strong for many people - not recommended IMHO for newbies) then 24, 16, 12, 6 and 0. There may be some in between.
Approved vendors on the ECF are monitored for their customer service and quality. More than 1/2 the vendors who apply are rejected. You can also find reviews on juice in the forum to help you make a good selection.
Hope that this helped. Happy vaping and Welcome to the ECF!!
Welcome to ECF Witchery. Not much else to say here , between VapingRulz and Huffelpuff (Hi Huffelpuff ) they've pretty much covered it. If you start to DIY on the juices, you can get nic in different strengths and make your own juice to whatever strength you want. Just have to know how to calculate it, and there are numerous calculators to help with that. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask, we aim to please heheh
I started at 24mg but am down to 12 now. Alot of ppl start in the 18-24 range. Usually when you first start you have to learn how to vape /inhale properly so a higher nic level helps. Then as your hit technique improves you can lower your level and get the same effect.
Tersur hit that one right on, same thing I did, started at 24 now I'm mixing mine to 12-14. I still have my 510 with 18 tobacco flavored, for those times when I have cravings, but they are few and far between now. Hi Tersur....I'm lurking mwahaha
One thing to note, the nic level in analogs will be quite different for e-cigs, your body absorbs it in different ways. If you start with 4mg nic juice for example, you will still have cravings, average smoker will go about 18mg in their juice. Just FYI.
As Balth said, it's NOT an exact science as far as how much nicotine we actually get from an e cig when compared to analogs. However, the rule of thumb in most cases is, as he stated, 18 mg nic content. As you will see or possibly already have, when you go to a website to buy juice there is usually a drop down that will allow you to choose what strength nicotine you'd like to use.
You may need to start at 36mg to keep the cravings at bay. I used 36mg for several months when I first stopped smoking, then I worked myself down to 24mg. I've pretty much stayed at 24mg - but I haven't smoked in over 2 years.
